Did Gear 5 really broke the internet or not? (serious)

source
This is a genuine question of mine , and i was and still am so confused over it .
I caught up to One piece anime and manga only recently so i wasnt actually there at the time when it released .

So what actually happened ? can someone explain . People claim that it did , some claim it didnt ,
the source i listed seems to be acknowledgment from Chrunchyroll about it, is that wrong too?

Obviously i know the phrase broke the internet isnt literal but still i thought crashing or overwhelming or whtever you call it , chrunchyroll or the respective platform where the ep is being released it called breaking the internet?

If not pls give an example other than Dragon Ball (i know that one) , and if its the only case?

This is how guns in One Piece would actually work in real life

The guns we see people use in One Piece are flintlock , guns that can only fire one shot at a time and need to be reloaded through the muzzle.

But in One Piece, they somehow keep firing repeatedly without reloading, which is pretty strange. So, I brought a real-life flintlock firing video for you to watch.

Why I hate Boa Hancock

The first thing is her horrible design. First of all it is unoriginal, it is the same hourglass design that every women that is supposed to be attractive gets. This design is unnatural and overly sexualised in a disgusting way and don't forget that her outfit is incredibly provocative and revealing with doesn't suit her character that is supposed to be defensive and cold to the outside world at all. and yes this design is supposed to strengthen her abilities, but Oda still chose to let her abilities work based on the targets lust and love he could have easily changed the emotion to something like fear or made the powers tied to physical contact instead of lust based emotions, showing that Oda chose this design with fanservice in mind and used her abilities as nothing but an excuse.

the reason Hancock is this way has to do with her enslavement by the World Nobles. and even tough this trauma is used to explain her hate and coldness towards men and the most importantly, The World Government. There are still a lot of characters like Nico Robin, Jinbe, and Koala, that endured the same trauma under the Celestial Dragons and world government ass well. but they decided to grow, become maturity, and change themselves for the better. Hancock, however, reacts by lashing out in a childlike and detestable way, showing hate and narcissism towards other people, not caring about their gender. I can understand being cold towards others as a defense mechanism and a protection against the cold world that tortured her, but that does not mean you can treat your crew members like shit or kick poor animals for no reason. I mean even Doflamingo, Crocodile, Imu and Enel have been show to care about animals but Boa, she acts like a total monster when she sees a cute baby animal

Another thing that fuels my hate for Boa Hancock is her weird dynamic with Luffy. when she was introduced, she was a commanding, powerful, and highly strategic Pirate Empress. But as soon as a goofy underage rubber boy shows up, she turns in an annoying, selfish and creepy tsundre. Her strength, characteristics and independence disappear like Zoro when he has to navigate on his own, as she turns into an helpless, weak and obsessed schoolgirl. Oda wrote the Kuija Pirates, a group of strong and individual women and decided to make their biggest and only character trait falling in love with strong men, which sounds really sexist. And don't forget that Luffy was a minor when these two first met, and what did Hancock do she assaulted him by showing her naked body which is just gross. after that she endangered her entire kingdom and the people she was supposed to love in order to protect a minor she obsessed over. The theories that Tritoma is Luffy's mom certainly don't help the case, since all empresses of amazon Lily are related. Boa Hancock could literally end up being Luffy's cousin.

Hancock’s famous catchphrase, "All men forgive me, for I am so beautiful," is kinda true in a weird way tough, since a lot of One Piece fans will defend her in discussions. why; well because she is hot and attractive. not because she was written as a good character, but because she has a nice pair of melons. Almost anyone who defends her is a total simp, that prioritizes ones attractiveness over the way a character was written. These are the people who will defend her in power scaling debates. Her feats however, are nonexistent. her only victims being perverted fodder marines and a random pacifista, this girl had problems dealing with Vice admirals like Momonga. Koby didn't even feel the need to dodge. her fights with figures Blackbeard and the Marines always end up being a few pages of fanservice and a beat down for the forehead fraud. instead of fighting like the character she was hyped up to be she struggles with randoms. she doesn't even use the conquerors haki she is supposed to have.

So in conclusion, Boa Hancock is a terribly written joke and fanservice character probably created to satisfy Oda's own wishes and those of a certain type of One Piece fan. she always ends up being a total bum when she is actually needed and. But hey, lets end this positively, at least she is useful for a round of tic tac toe.

The HK are....sorta lame.

Aside from, possibly, Shamrock, they don't seem to have very strong combat capability. Not what I would be expecting for someone positioned as high as they are. I don't think any two of them outside of Shamrock could face an Admiral alone.

What sets them apart is their immortality, but the weakness to their immortality is Conqueror's Haki. While Conqueror's Haki is relatively rare in the One Piece world, you would expect that situations the HK's would be deployed against would be threats of the highest caliber. And the opponents at the highest tier are usually going to have Conqueror's, so...they don't seem like a very capable fighting force- altogether.

I also wonder why Imu wouldn't have given the Admirals' this ability. Regeneration, immortality, and almost-instant teleportation skills... What am I missing here?

How to fix the god issue in one piece

I feel like if it was just made so that the devil fruits of the Gods weren't actually the gods themselves, but instead the people around them just made up myths about the gods and therefore if you ate that fruit, it would just be the power of belief and the dreams of the people, that made the fruit, not the fruit being an actual reincarnation of a god.

Thoughts?

Was reminded of Oda talking about the possible origins of the Jolly Roger in Chapter 2. Thought it might tie into Imu.

In Chapter 2 Oda talks about the Jolly Roger possibly going back to the term "Old Roger" refering to the Devil. This is obviously interesting since a major antagonist of One Piece is the Devil and he features a symbol with 2 crossed femur bones on his cape. Though it looks very minimalistic compared to actual Jolly Rogers.

There might be a parallel here where a possible origin of the Jolly Roger in the real world is a term for the Devil and in the One Piece world the origin of the Jolly Roger could possibly be a mark of the devil. It is possible that the Jolly Rogers of modern times are based on Imu's symbol (Could be a mockery of his symbol started by Joy Boy)

(This post is not saying Oda foreskinned the Devil being a main antagonist in Chapter 2)
