At the end of Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Ronan asks Star-Lord how he was able to hold the Power Stone, to which he answers: "You said it yourself, bitch. We're the Guardians of the Galaxy.", which still doesn't answer the question, and I don't get how the director missed that.
