How my now ex destroyed my car after an argument

I’m not innocent. I said things I shouldn’t have said and did things I shouldn’t have did. This all started because of his attitude/ my response to his attitude/ then he was mad at me because of my attitude, and it hurt got worse and worse until we were outright screaming at each other and when we got home I locked my apartment door to give him some space. Well that made it worse because when he tried opening the door he saw it was locked and then we went and did this. All 4 doors bent completely backwards and now they do not close at all. The car is in both our names but I’m the one who is paying it off. I think if I just kept my mouth shut and didn’t have my part in it this wouldn’t have happened but here we are. Now I have to rely on my neighbors to get my kids to and from school, luckily they are so kind. He’s packing his stuff right now and I’m reeling but I’m also so confused because we were having a good relationship and I don’t know why he was acting so rude to me in the first place (I didn’t hear him calling my name while talking to a mom friend at the bus stop so he came up to me and said, You couldn’t hear me? And it went from there. I asked him who are you talking to? Because he seemed upset and after I said that I guess I set him off). I’m hurt, confused, feeling guilty, angry, I think I went through all of the stages of grief already. Now I’m just numb. We were doing so well and now he goes and does this.

Almost choked on a avocado pit in my burrito

Was one slightly bigger bite away choking on a avocado pit. This is from my go to Mexican food truck so I’m kinda disappointed.

WTF is HAPPENING?

Edit; I was wrong about my speed , I am currently on 1gig down, and 40 up... But here's the kicker, I NEVER told them to change me to a higher package!!! I never gave consent to a change either!! Apparently it just happened and I have no idea when it happened! It was 600down 20 up when I got it years back and I was never informed of a change, and I explicitly chose the package I was on

I have been a long time customer and this is just appalling, I am 600mbs down and 20 Up, that is not even that fast and I am getting absolutely butt fucked like this???

I live in Central FL, and there is not much in the way of options around me but I'm currently planning to switch to AT&T air or anything simply out of spite against Spectrum for treating me like absolute shit.

When I started with this same plan, I was at a $35 a month plan with the internet subsidies , then those ran out and it went to like $80 then it went to $90 then $100 then 110$ and NOW $120!!! And this is literally in like 6 month intervals it seems, every 6 months they raise the price, with no end in sight apparently.

SERIOUSLY??? At this rate I expect it to just keep fucking going!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THE ENDGAME??? JUST KEEP GOING TILL I CANCEL????

Oh and PC, It loses connection every other day with outages happening on the regular

15 states have laws that allow corporal punishment in schools.

It's the states you would most expect, by the way. School should be a place for kids to feel safe, not somewhere they get hit. It's obscene and backwards. I grew up in Florida where they would strike children in school and to this day I get a sinking feeling of despair when I catch a whiff of that elementary school smell. Luckily my kids are safe from that in the northeast where I live now.

>One day, about eight years ago, when Tessa Davis' son was in kindergarten, she got a call from his school outside Little Rock, Ark. She said the school told her he had grabbed a girl's jacket in the cafeteria and twisted it – they thought he was trying to choke her.

>Given his past misbehavior, Davis said, the school gave her two options: He could either be suspended for three days or a school administrator could paddle him. NPR is only identifying her son by his first initial, C, because this story details his behavioral struggles and how he's been disciplined in school.

>Davis said she couldn't afford to miss three days of work to stay home with C.

>"I was kind of at, just like my breaking point," Davis recalled. "I told my husband that he could decide what we would do. And he was like, 'Well, I was paddled, so give him the paddling.' So that's what we chose. And I just remember feeling like instant regret."

Saved two unsupervised small kids from a almost certain, very cold and tragic death.

TLDR: 6yo boy led his 4yo little sister onto hysterically thin ice because of a canal float marker that looked like a ball. I had several mini heart attacks and yelled like crazy to get them out of there. Very likely saved those two children.
Yelled at their parents for letting their kids go unsupervised onto such thin ice.

So this was a few years ago.

It was winter in the northmost parts of Sweden.

I was with a couple of friends at a frozen lake nearby a suburban area with houses, getting ready to start a fire and such. And this lake has a canal that runs into at moderate to fast current speeds.

For you who doesn't know, if fast moving water from a river or canal enters into a frozen lake. The fast moving water will prevent any ice from building where the currents are too strong.

This means that at the edge between no ice at all, and where the Ice begins, the Ice is extremely thin, razor thin. And the Ice will gradually get thicker the further from the river/canal outlet you go.

Eventually, the currents go underneath the gradually thicker ice sheet further down onto the lake.

*Keep this in mind as i continue.*

While i had my back towards the lake and wwre prepping to start a fire. I hought i heard something far away from the direction of the lake, childrens voices.

I turned around and saw two kids on the lake, which in itself isn't a huge issue. But they were very young and completely unsupervised.

A maybe 6yo boy had led his little sister who was around 4yo onto the Ice. AND THEY WERE STANDING ONLY A FOOT AWAY FROM THE ICELESS CANAL WATERS.

The Ice where they stood was almost black because of how thin it was, i still cannot understand how the hell they didn't go through the Ice. That ice shouldn't have been able to support even their small weight as they were both standing so close to each other.

They were drawn onto the Ice because there was a orange ball shaped float that marks the canal entry point frozen into the thinnest parts of the Ice, close to the open currents.

Only a second after i saw them, i screamed ontop of my lungs while sprinting with everything i had through 3ft of snow at the kids to immediately go back the way they came. Else they would fall through the Ice.

I remember the panic i felt, because i was over 300ft away. And i remember feeling so powerless to do anything as i saw them look up at me while standing on probably only a few millimeters of ice.

But i sprinted while keeping yelling for them to go back to land. Both to direct them away from the waters edge, away from the thin ice and into thicker ice. And to make people around me aware of what's happening.

Most of you probably know, but for you who doesn't know.

Going through ice and fall into below 0°C waters is very bad to begin with. Shock, hypothermia within seconds, clothes getting soaked and dragging you down.

But this time we're talking about moving water currents that would've pulled these small children under the Ice if they fell through.

If that were to happen, i would've been completely powerless to save them.

I was too far away to do anything them if they went through.

But they didn't go through and according to me, they avoided certain death that day.

And before anyone asks, yes, i gave their parents an earful so harsh that i hope they never ever forget them. It was so close to disaster that while writing this, i feel my heart pound.

In Hong Kong, two small dogs were mauled to death by a 60kg, unleashed large dog in Yuen Long. The owner of the large dog is completely absent from the scene and nowhere to be found.

Two dogs - a 17/yo toy poodle and a 4/yo Bichon Frise were mauled to death by this unknown breed of large dog, possibly mixed with a mastiff considering how heavy it is and dog aggression.

The owner (from here on I will name them a "monkey", for being an pathetic excuse of a human) of the dog is completely absent, leaving bystanders (notably mainland tourists) to fend the dog off from the Bichon Frise in the image but unfortunately the poor pooch died shortly, and while STILL being held in the large dog's jaw. The large dog mauled a toy poodle around before the Bichon and the owner hastily took it to the vet, only for it to be too late.

The dog was so strong that people tried to subdue it but to no avail. Even after the police arrived, it took them effort just to subdue it. All this happened, and the monkey was nowhere to be found.

The woman that looks completely broken in the image is supposedly the bichon's owner.

As a dog owner myself, and keeping two bichons at that (the same breed that died in this mauling), this fills me with intense rage that calling it "rage" cannot completely describe how furious I am seeing this. Unfortunately, rule 4 is a thing so I can't say anything more on that monkey.

According to the tourists, the dog had a strong smell, supposedly the dog was never cared for by the monkey. The large dog supposedly never was socialized properly due to negligence and caused this to happen.

I have seen the uncensored footage and boy, it was absolutely heart wrenching to see, I can't even imagine this happening on my own bichons

My ex left me a letter on my porch with a terrible apology after I told her to never contact me again.

I won't get into too many details, but long story short, we had a huge fight two weeks ago after they got upset when I confronted them about how they were treating me. It's... heavy stuff, and I'd like to keep it private, but believe me, it was bad. It was my first real relationship, and I didn't know how important it was to enforce my own boundaries, leading me to letting them walk all over me, especially sexually and emotionally.

I blocked them everywhere after they refused to take accountability, and told them not to come in contact with me again and to either keep or throw away everything I ever gave them. Last night, I found a letter on my porch with the worst apology I've ever read on top of a pile of clothes and trinkets I had given her...

The infuriating part to this story is that it just so happened to show up after I was just starting to recover and forget about them.

I'm absolutely disgusted.

First post on Facebook feed

I'm politically left-leaning yet every day my Facebook feed gets more and more extreme and racist. I used to be recommended fun, harmless memes and the occasional post from old friends.

These posts should be grounds for immediate permabanning at the very least, let alone actively shared to the public by Facebook, Meta is complicit and actively enables extremist content.
