Ceramic coating or Protection film ?

Hi, I got 2026 XLE and thinking to do coating or protection layer as I drive ~150 miles a day for 5-6 days a week on highway. What do you recommend ? Also, is it better to replace the front bumper and hood than paying for coating / protection film ? I am planning ti keep the car atleast 250,000 - 300,000 miles to get ROI .. so, 7-8 years.. any thought ?

How to clean front bumper ?

I just got my 2026 XLE P+ Camry a week ago. Feels like everything is made from weak plastic.. inside and outside.. Major concern is shiny plastic parts on front and rear bumpers as well as door window shiny glossy parts (one automated car wash and things got visible scratches..) if I hand wash, how to clean these stuff without creating scratches ? Or even do I need to wash it as it’s all plastic and no to worry about corrosion ? I drive 35k+/year for work..

Please help ..

Window well closing lid due to flooding at window frame

Hi, I recently purchased a new home and moved in a month ago. The window well has weird design where window is going above the well ground level edge. During rain, entire window is flooded with 3-4 inches of water due to the gap between the wall and window well lid ( not the entire well flooding, just window frame). There is a good drainage and sump pump (in basement) right beside the window and start having white salt precipitation on basement concrete wall.

I want to close the gap so, thinking to buy piano hinge of full length and use metal screw to attach metal sheet which extend to 1 ft on horizontal level. Other side of hinge attach to concrete wall through screws. And do silicon caulking on edges to seal.

Will this work ?
