Anybody on this sub still believe that luffy has not surpassed Kaido?
Why is Kaido not considered part of the "old gen" by so many around here when his pirate career run almost perfectly in parallel with Whitebeard's?
- Whitebeard was a notable pirate some 48 years ago when he joined Rocks, Kaido joined 44 years ago
- Both started their solo journey around the same time following the fall of the Rocks crew. They rose together to become Yonko
- Kaido fell just two years after Whitebeard
I don't understand why he would be associated with Shanks' generation when the latter was not even born yet when Kaido's name as a pirate was well known. The Beast Pirates were already occupying Wano 28 years ago while Shanks was an 11 year old kid on Roger's ship.
Dogs nipping at the heels of the lion, begging for crumbs that fall from the lion's feast. Everyone expected Loki to massively outscale the old gen, and even outscale THE World's Strongest Creature, but now we know that couldn't be farther from the truth.
Hot Take: my top 10 strongest characters during the old gen
I believe that all of these character are pk level in there primes and are all stronger then any of the current yonkos (however gaban and silver cut it close)
This doesn’t include domi reversi since that power comes from imu and not the character
- Imu
- Roger
- Whitebeard
- Garp
- Rocks
- Herald
- Shiki
- Sengoku
- Silver
- Gaban
Imu on top for narrative and his great feats against Loki. In 2 for Roger for narrative of being the pirate king (which isn’t a rival to any Yonko). WB behind Roger since we never seen him with his WSM title until after Roger’s death but he most certainly got it shortly after so that puts him above everyone else here. Garp here for being garp.
Rocks is 5 since all the characters above him all hit there peaks after gv but rocks got good narrative and feats. Herald next for being relative to rocks. Shiki next for the crazy feats he did. Sengoku here since it was stated to be close to garp however I would still put him low since he doesn’t have great feats or that much narrative but he could be as high as 5. Silver and gaban next for being narratively hinted at being on Roger’s level plus even in there old age, they can still match yonkos in power so that shows pk level in prime.
And no gaban is not higher then silver just because he says he is, he’s clearly bias and silver is always above copper
"God King" Shanks and "Top 1" Imu - laugh if you're Teach victims
mihawk's generational run to avoid EVERY narratively important page/panel has to be studied bro
shanks and luffy in all 3. rocks in 2. roger and whitebeard in 2.
im not saying this to push shanks > mihawk, im just saying i want mihawk fans to see how as absurd as it is, the idea of someone who is so god damn irrelevant to the plot is above shanks and potentially loki depending on how that went is so ridiculous.
of course i dont think zoro will fight shanks, so mihawk should still be > shanks, just.... saying
At This Point, Zorotards Hate Gaban More Than Sanji.
Since Mihawk is Star Clown Buggy's underling, and Mihawk is rivals with Shanks, that means Buggy is the strongest yonko
It's sad that in this age some still can't admit this simple logic.
- Mihawk clearly acknowledges Star Clown Buggy as his unequivocal superior, which probably means that Star Clown Buggy beat him badly in a duel, otherwise his Warrior's Pride would not have allowed him to submit to Star Clown Buggy's authority
- Mihawk is said to be nearly as strong as Shanks, a yonko
- Therefore Star Clown Buggy is stronger than Shanks and Mihawk, maybe both of them put together (after all he has to be pretty strong to manage his left and right hands Mihawk and Crocodile simultaneously, otherwise they would team up to overthrow him) and is yonko++ or more likely Roger tier.
Only one of these weapons ever managed to put an aching scar on Shanks btw.
I wonder why 🤫
Prime Rayleigh and Shanks vs Luffy and Ragnir. Who wins this?
How much damage is real Mu taking from this?
It’s obvious his black shadow form can’t be hurt, so seeing Loki and Luffy deal damage to Imu, is Imu cooked?
as a guy who's always had zoro >= sanji, sanji fans, you guys made it.
im quite happy for yall, and sanji.
just so we're aware, its always been about strength, sanjis character gaps zoros so hard its unreal
If this were Blackbeard or Mihawk instead of Kuzan, you people wouldn't dare question the authenticity of the CoC on display from them
As each year goes by and the chapters roll out, it becomes more and more evident that Oda meant for this to reveal Kuzan's CoC. This is a standard exchange between Kings.
Oda spent the entire 'Battleship Bags' chapter building up this exchange by showing us the evolution of Kuzan's strength as he was trained by Garp. It culminates in an emotional, powerful exchange of blows that reveals the results of all that training.
This is Kuzan's most powerful punch, which was forged through his grueling training with his master. Oda emphasizes that by not only imbuing it with CoA, but CoC as well. It is the only moment *on-screen* where Kuzan lets go of any hesitation and fully commits to attacking Garp.

the loki agenda is at the weakest it has been in the last few months, so fellow lokibros, join me, lets revive our agenda together.
note: you must sincerely love ragnir
Swear your allegiance to Ice Squirrel Ratatoskr, and Warrior God Loki. Let's bring our agenda back to the glory days (3 months ago)
If Luffy and Imu splits the skies next chapter, is Loki a tier below Luffy or is he still somehow stronger than Luffy?
(second pic unrelated)
