Everytime I ruffle my hair for a bit a ton of hair falls out and idk if it’s supposed to be like that
Everytime I ruffle my own hair for a bit (like a minute) a ton (like i did it a couple times now and i think like 30~ in total fell out) of hair falls out and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like that or not because when I search it up it says it’s supposed to be only like 1-5, but I obviously don’t know if I’m doing something different then the things I’m reading thinks I’m doing
I was playing Heavens shot and I noticed this, the "He has a past of training Roberta" is wrong right? IIRC they trained under the same person but thats it lmao
Does anyone have/know where to read the volume 13 omake? I’ve been looking for a while but I couldn’t find it lmao
reddit.comAnyone have recommendations for a long lasting actually good sunscreen for UVA? I’m using an spf 50 sunscreen right now but it only lasts 80 minutes and I can’t re-apply it at my job
reddit.comDentist said my molars are healthy when I went yesterday and that my jaw was causing pain, but when I inhale cold air my molars hurt (which I’m only noticing now not yesterday).
I don’t know if it’s a jaw thing or if the dentist somehow missed something so I thought I’d ask here. They did test my teeth with like a cold cloth thing, but iirc only like the front ones and not really the ones in the back.
I am not asking for medical advice.

reddit.com(I’m sorry if it doesn’t fit the sub I’m sorta just asking around) Does anyone know how scanned sketches look like this? Like some lines are pure dark but still have some texture and I have no clue how they did that by just scanning the sketch
Just wanted to yap about part 2 for a bit
I know this obviously has been talked about a lot, but I just wanna give my opinion on the ending and part 2 as a whole.
(Im currently re-reading the series, I haven’t gotten to part 2 yet so opinions might change from this post)
Okay first of all I want to say I’m a massive chainsaw man fan, so this might be kind of biased. But I love chainsaw man and part 2 as a whole, I’d say I like it more than part 1 actually. Id give the series as a whole a rating of 7-8/10 objectively, personally more a 100/10 but yk thats a me thing.
I’m mainly gonna talk about the ending here but also just whatever comes up in my head, so sorry if it’s kind of all over the place.
I’ve had time to think about the ending, and I do think it’s good. Obviously it was a bit rushed but I still feel like everything was handled well if you take everything else into account. People often say that Denji should’ve been the one to give up being chainsaw man himself and that Pochita shouldn’t have done it for him, I kind of disagree on this.
People forget this but Pochita is still Denji’s first friend and pretty much family member, he was there since the start and saw everything Denji went through, even the stuff he wasn’t there for since they fused (Denji killing his dad).
Pochita is also Denji’s addiction, the entire part Denji needed chainsaw man since he needed the validation and love he got from it. Sure in the end Yoru pretty much confessed and he knows Asa has feelings for him too, but that’s just a start. There’s no switch that automatically fixes the addiction, Denji finally knows he himself can get loved (something he’s wanted since the Reze arc).
Yes he had people like Aki, Power and Nayuta. But they died, he blamed himself for killing Aki and Power, and regretted how he treated Nayuta in the aging arc by saying she was holding him back right before.
Denji was taking everything he had for granted since he still got to be chainsaw man, after those got taken away he blamed himself. Then he finds out Asa and Yoru still like him and is happy someone still likes him (he said this on the rooftop with Yoru).
Okay I got a bit side tracked but now with the Pochita thing, he improved on ALL of that at the end. The only thing holding him back was chainsaw man which he would never get rid of since it’s pochita. Pochita, who’s pretty much family to him who’s seen him grownup, realises he need to:
- Put Denji in a better environment since that’s been one of the main issues this entire part, even when he chose not to be chainsaw man the world forced him back into it. (In “themes and such” language, the world is a shitty place which forces young teens back into their bad habits and addictions to cope with the shitty stuff happening)
If Pochita ate himself, no one would come after Denji because he’s chainsaw man, and Denji wouldn’t be able to fall back on being chainsaw man anymore.
“Oh but wouldn’t that get rid of his development since he forgot everything?” No, when the ear devil got erased things for ears still existed, they just had a different reason for existing.
Following that logic, Denji (and Asa but I’ll get into that later) would keep all his development but forget everything, that doesn’t mean all of that was for nothing though. Denji keeps his development and is now in a better environment.
- Denji can’t be chainsaw man anymore, Pochita erasing himself means everything that caused Denji problems is now gone. I’m sure you know why that’s good by now.
Okay, now for why Pochita said that Denji was happier back then.
Pochita meant that Denji was happier dreaming of a better life while still appreciating what little he had, which is exactly what he did in the new universe and at the start of the manga.
At the start of the series Denji had Pochita who he loved and appreciated, he still dreamed of a better life which he tried to get by paying off his debt. Even then he doubts if he ever could pay it off, but he still tries.
In the new universe he has power and Nayuta, he still dreams of going to school which is why he had that look on his face while staring at Asa playing football. But he still turns back and goes with power.
I think this is what the entire story was about, part 1 is Denji being the country mouse and part 2 is him being the city mouse. Part 1 showed why just staying in place and not dreaming of anything else is bad for you (showed with him becoming Makima’s dog and doing everything she says.) he still has dreams here but they’re wayy smaller, and when he reaches them they’re not enough. In the Reze arc he says he’d rather be a city mouse, but he’s not one yet.
In part 2 he IS the city mouse (this happens in part 1 in that bunker with Kishibe and Kobeni where he says he wants a ton of girlfriends) and he slowly starts to fall back of being Chainsqw man since being that can give him the stuff he wants, and he slowly starts to take Nayuta for granted.
In the new universe he makes Denji is both, he appreciates the stuff he has but still dreams of more, but also doesn’t mindlessly chase them without any regard for anything else like in part 2.
(Here is where I wanted to talk about Asa and why I like her ending, but I’m short on time so ima move on the some other stuff about part 2 I liked and stuff that could’ve been done better)
I like how part 2 treats the side characters and the writing style it took with how it doesn’t explain everything, this is more a personal thing though. Like Fakesaw man for example, IMO Fujimoto left enough evidence that Barem is the original fakesaw man and that the one who shows up is someone else.
\\-the church can make more Fakesaw men, Barem is part of it and leading it
\\-fire devil can change peoples appearances
\\-Barem doesn’t transform into his hybrid form once in part 2
(Ima just leave this thread here I made on Twitter I don’t feel like copy pasting everything https://x.com/oatmealmystery/status/1994143873497747755?s=46 )
Again, this is more a personal thing, but still.
(Again I’m short on time so ima move on to the stuff I feel like could’ve been done better, but first here’s some other stuff I liked:
\\-Asa
\\-How the world seemed to drag Denji and Asa with it, idk how else to explain it but up until the end where Denji ate death Denji and Asa were just getting dragged everywhere lmao
\\-how Death’s plan changed when Fami mentioned that she can just let herself be eaten, I feel like death at that point didn’t have too much faith in Yoru and Denji being able to defeat her when he power actives or whatever, especially with Yoru acting like that, so she switched plans and let Pochita eat her.
In first found it weird that she couldn’t regen, but then I remembered Makima and Yoru needed contracts to regen, and since the other horsemen are probably in human hosts just like Yoru they probably also would need contracts.
\\-Yoshida just as a whole.
\\-the church, aging, war devil and falling devil arcs were all so top tier idc
\\-Loved Yoru as a character and her conclusion too
\\-i did like Nayuta and her ending, more focus could’ve been cool but i still loved her
\\-there’s more but again I gotta MOVE)
Okay now the stuff I think could’ve been done better
\\-I liked Asa’s conclusion but I feel like if she had more focus near the end I would’ve loved it even more
\\-if the alley scene had gotten more focus too it could’ve been really good, I still think it was done decently but it could’ve been better.
\\-the ending was pretty out of nowhere, but I don’t really gaf #yawn
\\-The things Yoshida mentioned doing with Denji at school not being shown, feel like it could’ve been fun
I WAS PLANNING ON MAKING THIS LONGER BUT I GOTTA GOOO MY BAD IF YALL GOT QUESTIONS JUST ASK ILL COMMENT
(Oh also I just remembered this but idk where to put it, Yoru telling Denji that she’ll have sex with him is obviously bad but I do think it’s sorta well written
Yoru first assaults Denji in the alley, and he doesn’t know how to feel about it saying “am I happy or unhappy right now”. Then Nayuta, the only real person Denji really gaf about besides Asa, died. A while after that Denji and Yoru have a lot of fun, and then have that rooftop conversation. Denji is crying while Yoru is on her, saying “I’m so glad someone still likes me”. Yoru sees that and immediately offers that sex offer. Denji knows here Asa and Yoru share emotions, and after this Asa and Denji develop a lot, him helping her with her trauma and all. Then at the end Yoru offers it again saying Asa consents (probably lying), Denji just had the development with Asa, so he jumps up and hugs Yoru.
Now the only sorta fault I can see here is that Denji was just fighting Yoru so she’ll give Asa her body back, but I think you can sorta defend it by saying Denji was just blinded with happiness for like a second idk.
Ima re-read part 2 soon so maybe my opinions will change, but I felt like yapping. If I said anything dumb tell me in the comments I wanna LEARN)
