What are your opinions on my composite bonding and composite restoration?

Hi,
Requesting Dental professionals and NAD for your opinions on my composite bonding and restoration.

Last pic is what my teeth looked like before, so yes I know it is definitely a big improvement but I wanted peoples opinions of them first.

I get a bit stressed that I don’t like them even though I think they are nice and my dentist did a great job but I just constantly feel bad about them cuz they are different.

Composite bonding on top 6
Composite restoration around bottom 4

I just want general opinions plus to maybe calm my below worries.
I have composite bonding on the top and restoration on the bottom.
Should I have gotten bonding/restoration on both to match?
Are they too white/ is top whiter than bottom?
Are the top 2 teeth too wide? I know gap was big originally.
Do the back teeth look weird?
Do the bottom team with restoration look weird compared to the top?
Do they look relatively natural?
I don’t want a turkey teeth look but I feel like they do look like that as I’ve had soooo many people as if my teeth are fake and know that I’ve had them done etc when I wanted natural look. Why is that?
How to stain to make less white?

Any opinions you have please say or anything to calm my worries.

Cavity or staining?

Got a clearer picture. Does this look like a cavity or staining? If it is a cavity does it look deep?

Infected crowned molar

I’m a 52 yr old non smoker woman who has just started a seven day course of amoxicillin to take down the infection I have in my crown. My regular dentist has told me that as the tooth is mainly filling underneath it will be a difficult extraction and has referred me to her senior college who only takes private patients. I wanted to know if any one has experienced removal of a crowned molar, what can I expect and was she right to refer me? Many thanks as I’m pretty anxious about this as my consultation with him is not for another eight d

Is baking soda in toothpaste safe to use on teeth that have bonding? Will it wear it down or damage at all?

Look forward to some insight into this from dentists on here thanks

How often do you brush your teeth?

Genuinely curious about this!

Is morning and before bed? Or after lunch too for example?

Would really appreciate knowing what the community here does.

Hole in tooth

Last August I had my teeth cleaned for the first time and straight after the session I had noticed a chip on the lower part of my tooth. The crack looks like it’s developed into somewhat of a cracked hole in the tooth and I’m not sure what it could be. The tooth too has this white chalk colour there also. My teeth are overcrowded and at the moment that tooth has had no pain. Does anyone know what this could be?

Is a root canal really necessary?

I had a deep filling on a right lower molar 10 months ago with no issues since and really have never had tooth issues before, besides that. About 5 days ago, I noticed temperature sensitivity on that side of my mouth, which progressed over the past 48 hours to be pretty severe with both hot and cold stimuli.

So, I saw my dentist, who did the X-rays, CDCT, and exam, and did not see any structural damage, but because the cold sensitivity lingered for ~5 seconds on that same right lower molar, i'm being recommended a root canal.

I just don't understand how there could be irreversible damage to my nerve in 5 days, especially if the pain subsides after 5-10 seconds of the trigger being removed. Is it possible for transient pulpitis to self-resolve or do I really need to move forward with the root canal?

upper lip frenulum look swollen? I’m

I’ve been suffering from my top 2 front teeth aching. It’s not a typical tooth ache like from a cavity or eating something hot or cold. It’s almost like as if I’ve been clenching or grinding my teeth which I haven’t. I’ve also had an occasional metallic taste in my mouth. I’ve been driving myself crazy looking up what it can be and of course I’m now looking at my mouth and think my upper frenulum is swollen. I don’t really look at that part of my mouth often so I could just be imaging things. I’m just looking for some insight on whether or not it is and if I should be concerned.

Rate my teeth/What should I do about whitening

I didn’t take care of my teeth throughout my teenage years and early adulthood, and I’ve paid the price, but my oral hygiene habits are much better now. I’ll be getting my bottom braces very soon, and after I’d like to looking into professional whitening. Any tips? Also please do give me a rating, as scathing as you see fit. Thanks guys.

Getting a root canal tomorrow at 19. I’m terrified

What should I expect? I never had any pain above a 3/10 with the infection, now I have no pain at all. I only noticed the pain 2-3 months ago. I’m still getting the procedure done, I don’t wanna risk anything. I got my wisdom teeth out in January and had a very painful recovery, but no complications thankfully. I’m really nervous about tomorrow and how painful it will be. Everyone I’ve told had been very sympathetic and concerned, it’s making me scared. Can I take my Buspar anxiety medication before the procedure?

18 year old doing market research for a school project on oral health supplements — would love your input

Hey everyone, I just graduated high school and I'm spending my summer researching whether an oral health supplement concept has any real demand before I pursue it further. No brand, no product yet — just trying to learn. Would really appreciate 2 minutes if you're willing. https://forms.gle/kHgwrE27eStQpz4i6

is proper tongue posture going to widen my upper palate or should i stop?

hey, so i’ve had improper tongue posture my whole life and unfortunately i was never motivated to fix it as a kid when dentists pointed it out to me.
now i’m an adult (in my early 20s) and after researching the long term health benefits of proper tongue posture and swallowing technique, i decided to give it a shot.
my problem is that my upper palate is simply too narrow to support my tongue, so it pushes against my teeth on the sides and i’m feeling a lot of pressure pain after two / three days.
i’m not interested in getting surgery done, so i just need someone to tell me if there’s a point to keeping up good tongue posture and if my palate will adapt with time or if i’m only going to mess up my teeth and hurt myself.

(i already have an open bite and misaligned jaws from years of improper tongue posture but i really don’t want to mess them up further. if that’s the case i’d rather face the long term tongue posture consequences)

thanks in advance

White growth on 16 month old gum

My niece is 16 months old, and the past week has had this growth on her gums. She was at the hospital yesterday and had some of it cut out, but not much of a change from her. (This picture was taken before she had anything cut out). Mum is very worried about it and has been given at an emergency appointment at a major hospital 2 1/2 hours away for tomorrow.

Stain Removal

Hi there. I have a dentist appointment in a few weeks for a teeth cleaning. I haven’t been to the dentist in 2 years due to no insurance. Last time I was at the dentist, I hadn’t been in 5 years before that. Anyways, when I went two years ago, I went for a cleaning and to have two fillings done. I’ve had these stains since last time I was at the dentist, but the dentist did not remove these stains and mentioned I had good teeth once the cavity was removed. For my upcoming appointment, I plan on telling the dentist I’d like these stains removed if possible. Wanted to get anyone’s opinion on if and how these stains can be removed? Most stains are in my molars and the crevices of my teeth. I’m just concerned I’ll be stuck with these stains. Unfortunately these are the best pictures I could take. Thank you.

Any experience with nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste?

I started researching nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste because i am cavity-prone and realized most brands sound very similar until you compare the actual formulas.

One thing that surprised me is how few brands disclose details like concentration, xylitol levels, or particle structure. After comparing a bunch, mouthology stood out to me because they are pretty transparent about using 10% nano-hydroxyapatite, rod-shaped particles and a higher xylitol concentration. Anyone else here has compared hydroxyapatite toothpastes long term and what differences you noticed?

How likely is it that a piece of the side of my tooth chipped off after while i was flossing?

Was flossing and when i pulled the floss i felt something come off the side of my tooth, i stupidly threw it away before checking if it could of been part of my tooth. Now on that area of my tooth it feels like something is missing, could it have been hardened tartar or my tooth?

Bf tooth just broke need advice

My bf hasn’t been to the dentist in over decade, he had a filling that fell out years ago and never did anything about it. He has a low pain tolerance and doesn’t want to be put in pain. And thinks dentists are scams and make things worse.
He also don’t want to spend a lot of money. But He said he would want to be put under to get the tooth extracted to avoid the pain.
Do we think that will be the fix? Or could they do a crown or cap or something?
He said it doesn’t hurt or anything.
Please I need advice.
