Out of all the playable characters with the least amount of body movement when idle is toph, while the character with the most korra, zaheer is a close second but korras hair and accessories tips her over the edge
like grounded game fans and wild anime airdasher fans both.
I used youtubers for example here, but I think the same applies to regular players
I got my shit ROCKED for two hours straight and ya know what? It was the most fun I've had with the game so far. Glad there's no ranked mode yet so shit like this can happen.
When korra uses her powered up follow up attcks, she'll briefly blink into the avatar state
You can adjust Norra''s 4F and 2F to land on both left or right side of your opponent from both roll options they have from a knockdown to enforce a left right mix of your choosing. (You still have to guess the roll option correctly). In this example, I set the Toph to use 2A to show this hits meaty.
I suggest using 2B as the meaty button cause that is Norra's button with the most active frames, but if you feel you were late and not hitting meaty, 2A is a quicker button that can be slightly mashed. DOn;t forget you can add the DP or throws to mix up even more with these TPs.
Just a couple tips regarding this game's infinite prevention system that i think people should know when interacting with it.
Just mash flow when being combo'd for a long time
Mashing the flow button during a long combo will help your character utilize the escape option as soon as it becomes available and deny the opponent any more damage than they deserve
Triggering flow escape gives opponent energy
Just a warning to long combo users that may even want to trigger flow escape on purpose as a setup. ANY combo long enough to trigger flow escape will give the person being combo'd 2 additional energy points, which are extremely valuable in this game.
Some characters can intentionally end combos with a low recovery button that will trigger flow escape and cover the landing of that really long escape option. I know azula can trigger flow escape with 2A and easily cover the tech options in both forms.
I just played a mirror match and went 0-7, largely because I didn't realize how ridiculous aang's 214EX is, but also because the other player was able to completely stop my block pressure somehow because after I hit him once or twice, his sprite would flash blue similar to how it does when charging j2C or 5C and then he would get a jab staring the frame after he blocked the attack, meaning he would always interrupt my block pressure. How did he do that?
Zuko’s skin tone changes if he’s in his standard red vs everything else as far as I can tell it only happens to him.
Tagah is announced to come this fall as free DLC, which means he’s probably first. But who do you think realistically will come out first after Tagah? And who do you WANT to come out first?
Of course there’s also the vote character, but I am currently assuming this character will be last.
Among the heavens and earth, She's the honoured one.
I bought it because I like atla but I've never been really into fighters before. Really enjoying this but holy fuck I'm getting my shit rocked. Motion inputs? I hardly know her.
New to fighting games and was getting whooped by this Azula. Was also distracted mid fight from a text so I gave up hope but I still came thru with like 1 hp 😭 sorry if this is lame lol
I don't see a lot of aang mains online and I don't see a ton of discussion on his character. Very few representatives last CEO as far as im aware. The few posts that do exists on this sub are mainly talking about how weak he is. I'm honestly just really curious why i dont see the mc of the series a whole lot. Do people find him weak or unfun? If so what makes him weak?
I am completely new to the genre. I am focusing on katara and aang since I really like having high mobility.
Im the meantime, I am doing the tutorials for the other characters, since I panic when I have no idea what my opponent can do.
Plus I'm watching some basic tutorials on fundamentals like controlling space in neutral and blocking, and trying to apply them.
I ask because I still get stomped like 85 percent of matches. I am having fun though.
New to the game. How good is Zuko in comparison to the rest of the cast? He’s my favorite character so I’m gonna main him but if he’s that terrible I’ll probably use him as a secondary.
