Be brutally honest

I got my hair dyed and I wanted it to be dark brown but instead it turned out looking black it’s only semi permanent so the more I wash it the browner it will become but can I have some honest opinions on how it looks on me because I feel like my face doesn’t suit my hair?

Family and some friends hate the bald :(

It’s been two weeks since I shaved it and my wife and kids and some friends are asking me to grow it back. Is this a common thing?

I’ve always had this hairline, as far back as I can remember. Is it okay to tie my hair back like this, or does it look bad? (M39)

Norwood 4? Is it started

Norwood 4

Yesterday I suffered hair loss it means whenever I scrub my hair during the wash I lose 3-4 hair each scrub so I check this and I am thinking it's norwood 4 since.

What is your opinion?

[M23] right choice? Or shouldn’t have cut.

Pulled the trigger and got the haircut. I’m having withdrawals from losing my longer hair. Did I make the right choice getting it cut or does it look better when it’s longer? Last two photos for what it looked like before

If you're a barber how'd you react?

(Didn't know where else to post this)

I have never been to a barber, I grow it out for a year or so then just buzz cut it myself, I've naturally got some pretty good hair, I don't really care what my hair looks like as long as it isn't gross/messy/super over the top, I am either buzz cut or lions main haha, but for a bit of fun I want to go into a barber and just tell them to have fun with my hair and do what they want, don't want to stress anyone out or have an awkward situation, just want to know how any barbers out there might react to this request

What hairstyle suits me best: short, medium, or long?

Hi everyone!! I’ve had my hair cut relatively short (not too short) pretty much my entire life, and then I just let it grow out until it gets really long before cutting it again.

I’ve never really had a defined hairstyle because my hair naturally curls in the back and makes me look like fucking Ash Ketchum :(

Lately, though, I’ve been wanting to actually figure out a hairstyle/look that suits me. Do you guys think I look better with short, medium, or long hair?

Sorry for the bad-quality photos! I just grabbed some random ones I had on Instagram. The last photo is me from literally yesterday.

Would love to hear your opinions!!!!

Could my boyfriend’s long, curly hair be hurting his chances of getting hired?

My boyfriend 27M just graduted with a financial planning degree and has been struggling to find a job these past few months. He is black/filipino/white and has long curly hair. His white side of the family has been telling him he needs to cut all his hair off since he looks like a “criminal” and that they wouldn’t hire him due to how his hair looks.

Mind you he normally ties it in a tight ponytail and has it pretty conditioned. He hasn’t had short hair in a really long time and he loves his hair. He’s contemplating cutting it all off because his family has convinced him that it’s his hair thats making him unemployable. Which i believe is utter bs.

Does anyone know any hairstyles or possible haircuts to help? I don’t have his hair texture and I’m worried he’s going to cut his hair to please his family and hate how it looks and lose any confidence he has left. He absolutely does not want to cut it bit thinks it’s his only choice.

Please be nice, any product recommendations are highly appreciated.

Edit: He does not have his hair loose during any of his interview, he has it tied in a ponytail like the first image and freshly conditioned. He also has a clean shave so he doesn’t have any scruff or beard.

The second image is to show his hair type. I know how to handle wavy hair not tight curls so if anyone has recommendations on styles that would be greatly appreciated.

I think I want a different style now

Ive had this cut for like a year that helps cover the corners of my massive forehead, but I feel like the amount of hair I have in the back just highlights the hair my forehead lacks

I dont think Ive ever felt completely right with my own hair, I'm open for all suggestions, I've got an appointment for a haircut in 2 days, what should I ask my barber for?

is my crown looking like it’s in the beginning stages of balding?

Sometimes it looks really full and other times i see some scalp ….might be the last time i grow it out before just buzzing it.

What to do with current hair

I usually do 9-12mm on sides and back and leave a few inches at the top. Now I want to change, but not sure what to do with my current hair.

If you can share examples, even better. (I know very little about hair styles.)

Genereally concidered to be average or slightly below average looks wise
