Just finished beating AT Jin for the first time with CB

Now that element is pretty strong, we usually choose element phials, but for monsters with bad hitzones you'd usually pick impact. In this run, I used a fire gog CB, and only dealt 3.7% of the total dmg with element.

Thats just 2K out of 60K, basically completely ignorable, considering you'd need to roll a gog weapon + skills + reinforcement for every element otherwise, am I wrong for thinking its best to just choose whatever best impact cb you have even if the element doesn't match?

Took me a solid 5-6 attempts but finally got my proof of a hero clear using charge blade. Shit is smooth sailing until ark pulls up🤣

Hello everyone, i’ve played Wilds for quite some time, and figured i can share my comfort DPS Hunting Horn build to tackle endgame quest. I’ve tried 9* and* 10** quests with these build and it runs pretty well. Bonus point, these build doesn’t need any specific god roll active skills, so you’re gonna save a lot of time from trying to land Gogmapocalypse & Lord’s Soul combination in your Onyx Choros.

The build itself feature 3 level of Speed Eating. I’m using Speed Eating because i use buff items a lot during hunt, but no worries, you can exchange these skill for another comfort skill such as, stun resistance for Proof of Hero quest, Constitution if you evade a lot, Adaptability if you hunt AT Nu Udra, Aquatic/Oilsit Mobility if you fight against Gogmazios, etc. Two defensive skills i’m highly recommend are Divine Blessing & Evade Extender. Hunting horn itself only have one defensive tool which is hilt stab. So, in order to increase your survivability, Level 3 Divine Blessing along with Level 2 Evade Extender is a must.

There are 2 offensive skills that’s mandatory for these build, the first one is Resentment. Resentment is required to activate Nu udra’s mutiny, so you have to slot at least 1 level of Resentment to the build. The 2nd one is that you need to equipped a charm that feature at least one level of Attack Boost skill. The Attack Boost skill distribution is up to you, as long as it’s at level 5.

For 75h of Wilds I had no problems with any monster with always clearing every obstacle at first try. However, yesterday after 3 hours of carting for the first time I was not able to clear Omega 8 with Bow and support hunters. I thought I had a pretty good grasp of this game but oh boy I was so wrong. Is this a common occurrence?

To me. I feel like the problem is that our hunters seem to get away from a situation of a monster unscathed all the time. The only time that they taken damage was when a piece of glass flew to our hunters face. But even then it wasn’t that bad. Compare that to our mhworld Hunter which they got knocked out a couple of times, velkhana knocked them out, they are struggling to take down a few hunters a few times. And even our rise Hunter was struggling a little bit during risebreak story.
Also most of the characters aren’t a little boring. And I feel like the story takes itself too seriously.

This guy is a menace.

If we take into account everything they have done, we would see that they slayed a dragon that wiped the most advanced civilization known so far, killed a biological weapon that had infinite energy and could regenerate from a single cell, a great frost monster that is strong enough to guard a whole ass zone just for him, defeated an ancient cholera dragon AND his upgrade and if that was'nt enough, they fended off against an interdimensional machine capable of adapting itself infinitely. As for their discoveries, they where able to find and befriend four nations inside a banned zone, discovered a power source so gargantuan in power that it was capable of changing the regions climate, discovered an underground incubator for guardian monsters of a lost civilization, repaired a great ancient furnace and rediscovered a thought to be extinct species of dragons.

Funny thing is that, this is not even counting the upcoming DLC.

This dude might the equivalent of monster hunter's Napoleon😭.

Just wanted to brag. I did AT Arkveld as a special quest to reach HR 500, and then I was like, might as well do it a couple more times to complete the set, and in the last one I got this beauty.

I already had an Attack Boost Lv 3 Thunder Resist Lv 3 charm, but now I can slot a lv 1 Attack Boost, so now I get Attack Boost Lv 4 in exchange for +10 defense, sounds fair.

I don't care thaat much about burst, but it is a bonus.
