I know this isn't exactly 10 billion percent Dr. Stone related or anything but just wanted to see what everyone thinks of Boichi's artwork on One Piece. Would you like to see him take over as permanent artist so Oda can take a break and just focus on writing?

Back in the 90's, Marvel was about to go bankrupt and sell the entire company. The fate of all of Marvel was placed on the shoulders of Blade and despite everything his film managed to be a success. Not only a financial success, but it showed Hollywood that Marvel movies can work and led to more films like X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, etc, which of course led to the MCU, the highest grossing movie franchise of all time.

So my question is, has there ever been another situation where a character literally saved the entirety of the Marvel brand? As far as I know it's a feat that only belongs to my GOAT Blade. Even Spider-Man, who's the face of Marvel, has never "saved the entire company" before unless I'm mistaken? Are there any other characters that were put in a position where they essentially saved Marvel?

I've been seeing a lot of mixed feelings about One Piece lately with how people are saying it's bad or it fell off, but I was wondering if you can give me some examples of other anime/manga you would honestly say with full confidence is better written than One Piece? I'm not saying those series don't exist. I was just wondering what other people think.

As for me personally... If we're counting all of JoJo's as one and all of Gundam as one than each of those series I'd 100% definitely put above One Piece no question. But a few other series that I can honestly say overall have better writing than One Piece would be Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Berserk, Vagabond, Hunter x Hunter, Gintama, and Dr. Stone.

But what do you think? What other series would you be able to say is for sure better written than One Piece in your opinion?

I was wondering what everyone's take on this was. I feel like I just can't help but notice how when JoJo's switched from a weekly to a monthly manga the overall writing and artwork got even better and Araki put out SBR which is known as a masterpiece and is the 2nd highest rated manga on myanimelist which is even higher than One Piece. Do you think if Oda also switched to a monthly series instead of a weekly we could've got an even better version of One Piece than what we got? Or do you think all of the "Oda-isms" would've crept in no matter what like the fake out deaths, repetitive torture porn backstories where the mom always gets killed, sexist characters designs, unfunny perv jokes, etc, and One Piece never truly would've been able to reach that same masterpiece status as Steel Ball Run?
