Souten no Ken (2006) is actually available to stream in high quality!

I just found out that we can stream Souten no Ken (2006) on Amazon Prime and these two websites. Apparently, you'll need a Japanese VPN to access them. I used the Urban VPN browser extension, and it worked.

Bandai Channel and U-NEXT both offer Episode 1 for free. For Bandai Channel, just connect to a Japanese VPN and stream normally. For U-NEXT, connect to a Japanese VPN to access the stream, then turn the VPN off as soon as the video starts loading, it should continue playing without any issues.

The video quality is insanely good (720p - 1080p), especially compared to the old HnG (Hokuto no Gun) release.

Hopefully someone can make a proper WEBRip or, even better, a WEB-DL from these streams to preserve the series in the best quality available.

As a manga reader, I think that the multicontinental scaling of FOTNS makes absolutely no sense. I will never believe that Kenshiro or Raoh could easily lift THIS.

If FOTNS truly scaled to multicontinental them we should have expected characters to be strong enough to hurl mountains at eachothers and throw pebbles with enough strength to cause nukes. Jagi doesn't care about being fair, if he really was island level (as some say) then he would have just grabbed the entire dojo and thrown it into orbit during that flashback fight against Ken.

According to this interview with the sound director, Noriyoshi Konuma, the Fist Of The North Star reboot could take 10 years to complete if they want to cover everything. At least, that's the time frame they're thinking of.

Been wondering recently - How strong does a person need to be learn a Hokuto no Ken technique / pressure point?

Since Bat is the weaker part of the cast (D in the guidebook? I think thats how its called), comparable around maybe an athlete or a bit stronger than that, and he has been shown that he knows a Hokuto move or two, for example in the Bolge arc, he uses pressure points to erase Lin's memories. Since a pretty weak person compared to the HNK universe could learn a Hokuto Move, could real life people comparable to his level of strength, like for example said athletes and other martial artist, learn a pressure point?

I find the "memory erasing" pressure point to be a bit of a ass pull. I don't really believe a pressure point that would be quite easy to learn, I was thinking something more easy, less damaging, if there is a pressure point like that?
