How many asuras can Jagi beat before going down?

As much as I criticize the later half of Hokuto no Ken, I find the concept too great to ignore. There’s that one general who can take out your rib from your body without puncturing your skin.

But I want to talk about the Asuras. According to the book; 1 of them is worth 10 men. So they’re definitely tougher nails to bend than the common thugs from other part one. I won’t be counting the Rashos, because they effortlessly would kill Jagi, that’s not an insult because they would also kill 98% of villains in the first half.

So how many Asuras does it take to beat one Jagi?

In an alternate turn of events, Raoh lands the killing blow on his brother and lays him to his peaceful rest after so much fighting. Then he returns to the land of which he and his kin were born. He hadn’t forgotten the promise he made to his older brother and he is here to claim it as his last objective to conquer the heavens!

Skull Death - HNK : Uncensored Project

Let's Talk - Juza of the Clouds

  • Agree or Disagree? Do you feel like Juza is casually equal to the Nanto Rokusei Ken (南斗六聖拳, Six Sacred Fists of Nanto) minus Holy Emperor Souther?
  • How could or should Juza of the Clouds (if it was a feasible and logical possibility), become casually equal or surpass Holy Emperor Souther?
  • Agree or Disagree? Is Juza really skilled enough to be Raoh's equal? How could or should Juza become equal if he were to go up against Raoh's elder biological brother Kaioh in a "fair fight" if those two were to somehow someway meet face-to-face on the desolate wasteland of the Land of Asura.
  • We do know that he's fast enough to "Speed Blitz" Raoh and then force Toki's body to collapse, but what if he was in a heated brawl with a fully blood-lusted Prime non-sick Toki in an actual fair-fight and fully trained non-glass cannon non-self-taught, would Juza still lose or win if Toki makes a minor mistake.

Listen, I get that I'm talking about a manga and anime where main protagonist can make people explode with a single touch. But how on earth is a technique that specializes in firing ki blasts - which destroy human body at the cellular - capable of creating ice?

I also want to get some more, but I really prefer dub. What should I get next ?

Just finished the movie, have not seen it since I was a kid. Loved it, some of it made zero sense tho lol

Fist of the North Star is Way More One-Track Than I Expected

I found Fist of the North Star surprisingly one-track all round. Most of the characters are variations of the same lone, silent warrior type, and outside of the music and atmosphere I am struggling to find much that really stands out. I am also not convinced by the idea that it is a critique of hyper masculinity, it reeks of your typical Japanese right-wing romanticism of what makes a man. Also Ken is really boring.

If you switched the tone of HNK and Riki-Oh, would it be beneficial or detrimental to the story?

I have 14 volumes of HNK, and I recently bought two volumes of Riki-oh. The first two weren’t available at the site, so I had to get volumes 6 and….the number that comes after 6.

A year ago, I read the whole manga on a pirating site. It was really great during the first half of volumes, got a bit strange yet engaging during the the later half, and turned into a complete clusterfuck during the ending. Still I like it, even though it may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

The reason I made this post is because even though Riki-oh is more strange than HNK, I found the setting, atmosphere, and tone more engaging, and that’s not to put down the former. It’s also funny because the artist of Riki-oh is the creator of my fighting manga that has a diet version of Hokuto Shinken. If you know you know.

I wonder if the tone of both manga switched, would they be better or worse?

We need more interactions between Adult Bat and Ein.

  • Killing off Ein was a terrible mistake and in the dumbest way possible like if he was only in critical condition and learn he's gonna live to fight another day it would open up the door for future storylines with this character.
  • Ditching Adult Bat once the Celestial Empress arc was completed was a big slap in the face and bringing him back into the story as man to do absolutely nothing like if write him out nothing could change.
