It holds a special place in my heart and soul because it was one of the early anime series I got into in the early 2010s when I was a fish-out-of-water new comer to manga and anime. Not my all time favorite anime series but it's enjoyable in both the Dub and the Sub.

The 1954 Akira Kurosawa film Seven Samurai is obviously superior to the anime

• The romance subplot between Okamoto Katsushiro and Kirara Mikumari was completely and utterly pointless like we introduce it if you weren't going to do anything at all. Plus Kirara Mikumari had zero interest in Okamoto Katsushiro.
• Okamoto Katsushiro wasn't intelligent enough to see it either until the series conclusion where goes from Simp to Chad but I'm still upset about what this fuck up did to Heihachi and Kyuzo.
• My two favorite characters of the seven samurai are Kikuchiyo and Kyuzo.
• The chemistry between Shimada Kanbei and Kyuzo is nice I wish more was done with it like it leans so into the "Ho Yay and like historically, gay relationship were commonplace among the Samurai.

• I don't know how other people out there feel about the sub or dub but I think their both excellent enjoyable in my opinion.
• Adventure and Girls-with-Guns is always a good combination if it is done correctly and I feel like this series does it rather well.
• The chemistry and "Les Yay" between Kirika and Mireille is touching but fans might prefer Kirika and Chloe to be together if Chloe didn't have her own set of issues.

An excellent voice cast:

• Kuwashima Hōko as Yūmura Kirika. She was good as Sango in Inuyasha and Clare from Claymore.
• Mitsuishi Kotono as Mireille Bouquet. I was so thrilled when I found out that she was voiced by the same woman who voiced Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon and Misato Katsuragi in Neon Genesis Evangelion.
• Hisakawa Aya as Chloe. Again I was excited when I learned that her voice actress voiced Mizuno Ami from Sailor Moon and Skuld from Oh My Goddess!.

We have the following mentioned in a multitude of 80s animation tier list and yes I know it's for wester animation tier list but if your talking about all animation and not just wester animation then Raoh should be high on a tier list

• Cobra Commander from G.I. Joe.
• Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget.
• Gargamel from The Smurfs.
• Megatron from Transformers.
• Mumm-Ra from Thundercats.
• Skeletor from He-Man & the Masters of the Universe.
• Shredder from the Fred Wolf's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

• Falco and Jukei both have a Power of 4.
• Falco and Jukei both have a Speed of 4.
• Falco and Jukei both have a Skills of 5.
• Falco and Jukei both have a Looks of 3.
• The only difference is Falco has better Charisma. Falco having a Charisma of 5. Jukei having a Charisma of 3.

• Ryuga and Shoki are "Level: B" martial arts practitioners, however, below is the difference when it comes to their overall stats.
• Power of 3 for Ryuga (So he's on the same level as Jagi, Shin, Rei, Yuda, Shu, Shuren of the Flames, Juza of the Clouds, Alf of the Hour Glass, and Shachi, however, I enjoy all of them and I know they would kick Ryuga's ass easily).
• Power of 4 for Shoki - So he's above Ryuga in terms of power.
• Ryuga and Shoki both have a Speed of 3 which is why they could not keep up with Kenshiro or anybody else in the series whose faster which is a majority of them.

• The soundtrack is 10 out of 10.
• The combat is fantastic. Out of all of the Turtles my favorite in terms of the combat is Donatello like don't get me wrong they all have outstanding combat but Donatello is the best of the best. If you disagree that's fine.
• The level designs are not my all time favorite in the history of video games but it get's the job done like the subterranean areas and the interior of Shedder's palace (which are pain to beat like dude this entire game took me for what feels like an eternity to complete and when I did complete it I felt like the King of the World) for example are well put together and memorable and of they are like your gonna be getting game overs so much that they level designs will be embedded into your subconscious forever.
• The Boss Fights can either be thrilling or frustrating like fighting Shredder, Dr. Baxter Stockman, the Foot Elite Guards, Oroku Saki, and even Hamato Yoshi in the Challenge Mode is a pain in the shell even on the easy mode but when I finally beat them all I was jumping for joy like you wouldn't believe.
• Versus Mode is fun if you have somebody to play with and Challenge Mode is can go fast if you get all of the Shurikens on the harder boss fights like Hun.
• Unfortunately there is no ability to block adversaries attacks or change the camera around to see what hidden collectables exist like the camera like in an alleyway behind April's Antique Shop you literally have to throw random attacks to get the collectable but this game's camera is better than the camera in the sequels.
• My least favorite stages is "Trap" and "Notes from the Underground" and favorites are "Nano" and "Tengu". Like their all fun and frustrating but those two I enjoy. The very first stage "Things Change" is difficult for beginners but once you get the hang of it then it becomes a walk in the park but overall it's not boring but the other stages are just more interesting. The final stage "Justice" is completely insane with how many boss fights the game throws at you like by the time you even get to Shredder your are zero levels and trembling with fear.

• I love the 80s traditional animation hand-drawn art-style like going back and rewatching them again is a breath of fresh air from (NOT ALL) but a lot of generic looking 2010s and 2020s anime where the characters are all lookalikes and in terms of voice acting they all sound-alike.
• The opening for Dirty Pair (Lovely Angels) "Ru-Ru-Ru-Russian Roulette" is a kick-ass theme and since the day I first heard this song I've become a fan of Meiko Nakahara like her music is fantastic and unique.
• "Konya wa Hurricane" kicks a lot of ass too like Kinuko Oomori has an amazing voice and its a textbook (ONE OF MANY) of why I love 80s music. The originality with the lyrics and the overall choices for the musical instruments is incredible and I will always love this great song.
• As someone whose a fan of the original 1982 classic that is Blade Runner I immediately picked up in the references in Bubblegum Crisis and its very much aesthetically pleasing to my eyes.
• Kei and Yuri and Priss and Sylvie have strong lesbian / girlfriend energy.
