Are these two rare, out-of-print albums by Prince?

Both albums were secondhand. I don't know where I put the cover of the "Black Album"? doesn't matter, it's just a completely black sheet of paper. My native language is Chinese, so I don't know what's so evil about the "Black Album." The "Beautiful Experience" EP mainly revolves around various remixes of the single "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World."

Raspberry Beret best lyric?

I'm of the opinion that Raspberry Beret is lyrically the best and most imaginative of his career. I get the love and devotion shown on Adore and Wally. I get the intensity of Sign O' The Times. However, I don't think a single other person could have written the lyrics to Raspberry Beret. Thoughts?

I made a ranking of Prince's 40 official albums

Prince References in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

On May 19th, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was released early for people like myself that pre-ordered the game and I've seen a couple of Prince references it I'm amazed and overjoyed! Of course Prince is my favorite musician of all time so it's really cool to see all the little Easter eggs tributed to him throughout the game. I've barely made it through and I've already seen a couple of them! For anyone that doesn't know, this game is a love letter to all things Batman and of course Batman 1989 is featured thoroughly in this game and it even recreates the Joker museum scene using one of my favorite Prince songs: Partyman! When I first saw it I was extremely shocked that the estate allowed the development team to use Partyman but ultimately I think it was a great move. This could open younger audiences to Prince's music and of course the scene itself wouldn't be complete without Prince. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LT8IK2ZaCMY

If you bought the additional Party Music pack content, Catwoman even has a suit that's an exact recreation of the Purple Rain suit (but in black of course). As soon as I read the suits description it was no denying it's Prince. This will definitely be my main suit for her!

But what do you guys think? We know Prince created the soundtrack for the movie, but would he have approved to use Partyman and his likeness for this game?

fans: do any of you know how purple became prince’s ‘color?’ 💜

i’ve been listening to prince’s music for a very long time, but never researched how purple became synonymous with him. wondering if some more knowledgeable fans have the answer? 🎵🤔💜

Any More Stories of Crazed Fans?

So, Prince talked more than once about this. Different occasions women fans would show up at his home or hotel and refuse to leave. Or the famous trenchcoat lady.

And it sounds very Minnesota and very Prince: talking them through the reality of what theyre doing here, and "okay now, I want you to think about this. How would you feel if a stranger showed up at your house, at your work, and..."

I've heard him talk about a handful of these occasions and bandmates mention 2.

Has anyone else from back in the day seen this?

New Prince Fan

I’m a relatively new Prince fan as of 2026 since I heard my grandfather playing some tracks on vinyl at his house. One of the songs he played was called ‘Sometimes It Snows In April’ and it legit was the greatest song to ever hit my ears. Does anyone else like this song a lot? I just feel like his vocals and the piano are literally perfect. Also are there any other Prince songs/albums you recommend to a newer listener? Thanks!

Prince Fans - Generational Curiosity

Strictly out of curiosity, I'm wondering based on posts / comments, what generations we fall into as well as the year started listening / became an absolute fan. I'll go first: Gen X, first time hearing 1982, die hard fan 1984.

If thus kind of post is not allowed please remove and my apologies.
