Why is Goku letting Vegeta hit him?!?! Goku is thousands of times faster than him, so he should've easily been able to dodge Vegeta! Shouldn't it look like Vegeta's moving in slow motion to Goku?

Hey everyone! Longtime Dragon Ball fan here and felt the need to throw my two cents in about a topic I feel doesn’t get nearly enough discussion that being the voice acting primarily for the Funimation English Dub.

As someone who grew up watching the original Dragon Ball Z movies while simultaneously reading through the manga I cannot help but be curious about what it would take to become part of the series even if it’s in a small one off type of roll. How do the voice actors manage to find work? Is the audition process hard for obtaining roles as characters… even if they’re just for a single appearance? I’d love to find out how it is all done.

In case anyone’s wondering, yes, I am talking about wanting to become a voice actor for this truly iconic franchise. How does a person go about it? I know that there could be training that would be helpful for myself, but currently I am decent at impersonating mainly villains with their lower gruff sounding type of voice. Forget playing the hero or sidekicks, I feel like it’d be more fun and entertaining in general to try playing the role of an antagonist to truly put myself to the test.

If anyone would have any useful information about how I could get my journey started into the vast ocean that is the anime industry, please feel free to let me know!

Since Toppo was evenly matched with SSJB Goku, and then proceeded to transform into a Hakaishin form which was relative to SSBE Vegeta, is it safe to say that Beerus could have a 10-20x multiplier up his sleeve?

Dragon Ball All the Fights Tier List (DB, DBZ, DBS, and some movies)

After rewatching most of the fights across Dragon Ball, DBZ, DBS, and some of the movies, I decided to rank them based on impact, choreography, intensity, and overall hype.

This isn’t just about power levels. It’s about how a fight feels.

Some fights stand out because of the build-up like Goku vs Frieza, others because of raw brutality like Gohan vs Cell, and some are just pure animation and hype like the Broly movie fights.

I tried to balance between story importance, emotional weight, animation quality, and rewatch value.

So don’t expect this to be just strongest equals highest. Some older fights still dominate because they have that raw energy that modern fights sometimes lack.

I also included some movie fights because some of them go insanely hard.
