what AI gets right vs wrong about Japan market entry, in one regulatory table

AI nailed the surface layer of a Japan supplement launch plan but my Tokyo regulatory contact rejected its compliance work as "reading material." I help health brands enter APAC and recently let an AI agent draft a full plan, 50M yen budget, women 40 to 55.

It mapped 楽天 and@cosme  correctly, named DHC and FANCL, even produced a 薬機法 OK/NG phrasing table. But the replacement phrasing it suggested was too vague to pass real review. Read like summarized web guidance.

I treated the MuleRun output as a first pass and paid locals to redo compliance. AI flattens the language and framework barrier. Not the enforcement knowledge barrier.

Just discovered baby wipes are better than facial wipes and I can’t believe it

Okay so I have to share this because I feel like I’m late to the party. I randomly tried using baby wipes instead of the facial wipes I usually grab and wow they are way thicker, wetter, and softer. I’ve been using Pampers Aqua Pure, Momcozy, and Huggies Natural Care and honestly they all feel so gentle on skin and huge compared to the tiny facial wipes. One wipe can cover my whole face and neck without tearing and the formula is so mild it doesn’t irritate at all. I can’t believe I only just realized this hack. Has anyone found a good, more affordable baby wipe alternative at Dollar Tree that works just as well?

There are a couple japan exclusive VGM pressings I've been wanting to pick up, one is a Falcom special edition box and the other is an older Square Enix pressing I found listed on a secondhand shop. Neither seller ships outside japan, so it comes down to using a proxy or a forwarding service.

For just 1 or 2 records I'm not sure which makes more sense. Proxy services like Buyee or ZenMarket handle the entire purchase and ship to you. Forwarding services give you a japanese mailing address and you buy the item yourself, then they send it overseas. For a small order the real question is which one has less overhead when you're not consolidating a big haul.

What worries me more than cost is how the records get treated in transit. Vinyl warps if it's packed poorly or sits in heat too long, and I've seen enough horror stories about destroyed records to be paranoid. A service that actually knows how to ship records flat with proper stiffeners matters way more than shaving a couple bucks off fees.

Came across Onemall while comparing options and their rates looked lower than Buyee for lightweight packages. No clue how they handle vinyl specifically though, or whether they get enough record orders to have a real process for it. Btw I asked Onemall's support about vinyl shipping, they said they have a specialized packing method for records to ensure they arrive safely.

For those of you who've shipped records from japan, did you go proxy or forwarding? And was the condition worth the hassle?
