Should I (female) Transfer from an All-male Unit to another?
Problem/Goal: I’m a female at napasama ako sa all-male unit. Should I transfer? I also wanna know how would u feel if you’re one of my male roomies?
Context:
I’m from a province and travelled 12hrs. to the city to take an entrance exam (have to stay until the results are out, for the interview).
I’m supposed to stay with relatives kasi i thought I’ll have a solo room there. Nagulat ako pagdating ko kasi makiki-share pala’ko ng room sa pinsan ko with her partner tapos tabi lang yong foam namin! That’s why I immediately messaged my workmate who recently posted na for rent yong room niya. Same condo where I used to live (diff unit). Walking distance lang sa opis namin (in case mag rto ako), very convenient so I grabbed it last minute. it’s already too late when I found out that it’s an all-male unit. Pumayag naman raw roomies niya. For the context: may 3BR, nasa solo room ako pero shared with 9 other males ang CR and kitchen.
Tapos yong mga damit ko pa, panay topless and cycling gosh (kasi wfh ako at mainit).
tapooooss parang naka boxer lang sila😭 gosh. i try to avoid them as much as possible pero need ko rin mag cr/kitchen.
I plan to stay here for a month BUT I also don’t wanna put them in an uncomfy situation.
do you think they mind my presence or is it just me overthinking it? should i transfer to another place?
Prev. Attempts: Naghanap nako ng various places before going here but this is the most convenient. Limited rin ang budget so needs to weigh.
