CFMoto 450 SR-S Gearbox / Engine Problem
Hello everyone,
today on the way while getting on the highway, like normally I was accelerating, not even full throttle, probably half throttle, and the bike suddenly locked up and started losing speed. I also couldn't give throttle anymore, my check engine light came on and was blinking. It didn't register the throttle basically, while rolling to the side of the highway, I started downshifting and every single downshift the gearbox made horrible grinding sounds.
For some context, I had a crash a few months ago where I rear-ended someone because of a similar situation like this, the bike just acted weird when I was downshifting.
It was repaired at a CFMoto dealership completely, so I don't really see how it could be a consequence of this crash.
Anyone had experience with sudden gearbox failure or grinding on the 450 SR?
Update a few hours later:
Check engine light went away, bike starts perfect, rides perfect again, no leaks or anything else. It's still getting picked up to go to the dealership to check out what's happening.
