What to do after praying Istikhara
Assalamualaikum everyone,
So I’ll be graduating soon, and I like him a lot. But I wanted to approach him in a halal way. My motive was to give him a proposal for marriage right after my graduation. Which is why i prayed Istikhara, as obstacles mean it’s better not to go forward and if everything happens smoothly, then Allah has made it easy for us.
I’m not sure whether my situation goes with Istikhara prayer or not. But I heard that Istikhara is completely depended on action. I must act on it. So does that mean I have to send him a proposal right away? Or wait for him to make a move? I’m not sure what the to do’s are after Istikhara. Should I’ve prayed tahajjud instead? As I’m asking Allah to make it happen if it’s beneficial for all.
Edit- I forgot to mention that he’s my faculty (3 years of age gap). Which is why I’m a bit confused on what action should i take.
