Worst experience I’ve had in my life tbh
TL;DR:
I bought five Korean Pokémon pack bundles ($55 total) from a small Whatnot seller after seeing decent reviews and fast shipping claims. Right away it got sus. The seller printed a label but seemingly never packed the items, USPS said they never received anything, and the seller kept giving vague or inconsistent updates. After two weeks of delays and promises of a “reshipment with extra goodies,” I finally got a package, but it was mostly the wrong packs, missing the main sets I actually bought. I left an honest review (still gave 5 stars for packaging/shipping), and the seller immediately messaged me afterward in a way that made the whole situation even weirder/frustrating, holding my items hostage until I removed my bad review. Basically: sketchy shipping, poor communication, incorrect order, and a very frustrating experience overall.
joined a small seller’s stream. @ below_wholesale/sharpeiest_finds and read the reviews beforehand and they all seemed pretty good, especially as their page listed suggested that they ship in <1d. Now, after this headache of an experience…I’m not too sure if the reviews are even legit. The streamer seemed to be having a rough night, nobody was going in on his Korean $9 start packs. He put up a 3 pack bundle of Korean black bolt, white flare, and team rocket/destined rivals(?). I have so many chases in those sets, so I hopped in at the $9 start and nobody upbid me. He started one of them at a dollar, said he’s not doing a dollar start again after I won the bid. Cool. That’s fine. I bought five bundles of it. $55 order after shipping and taxes. Purchased on may 7th. May 8th it showed that they prepared the label for the order and the proof picture was literally just a label printed out on a table top. I got suspicious, so I looked at the video receipt and noticed each time I purchased a pack bundle he never removed them from the stand. Reached out to the seller. They said they would try to take a picture of the box with the label on it before usps picks up the item. Never updated me. Chose to be patient, until a week later it shows item shipped but usps was still awaiting the item. I contacted USPS, they claimed they never even received a shipment or a drop off/pick up so I relayed this to the seller. They claimed they shipped it already but apologized for the inconvenience and that they will send a reshipment with some extra goodies as an apology to make it right the following Friday. The following Friday I reach out to re up and they claimed they shipped the reshipment. I check informed delivery and I’m not seeing any new tracking labels inbound from their address. I message them asking if they could provide the tracking number, and in return they send me a screenshot of the original ‘shipped’ order’s tracking number. Whatever. I’m patient. Two weeks later my reshipment that was supposed to make it right shows up at my door, and no sight of the original order at all, even with a usps claim and missing mail search. I open the box to find that I have a bunch of random Korean packs instead of black bolt and white flare, and the 5 destined rivals were thankfully at least there. I’m defeated at this point, so I leave a fair, honest review stating my experience and I even gave them a 5 star in the shipping category, because to be fair they did package it well even though it was literally incorrect. The seller immediately messages me and I’ll attach pictures of our conversation below. Guys. What. The. F.
