4 kids - worried about going back to work five days a week - Any touch down offices in Richmond hill?

I live in Richmond hill and am looking to go back to work in August after my fourth mat leave. I’m wondering, because I can’t access the internal site right now, are there any touch down offices in Richmond hill?

Lost Acting Team Lead Role After Going on Maternity Leave — Is This Normal/Fair in OPS?

TL;DR: I was acting as a Team Lead in OPS from Feb 2025 until I went on mat leave in Sept 2025. The permanent holder of the role has been away in other assignments for ~5 years, and my contract had already been extended multiple times because of that. The understanding seemed to be that as long as her assignment elsewhere kept getting extended, mine would too.

When I went on mat leave, they hired someone else into the Team Lead role. I was then told that when I return, I’ll go back to my home position as Senior Policy Advisor instead of getting the Team Lead role back — even though, had I not gone on mat leave, I likely would have continued getting the extensions. I was so sick at the end of my mat leave - turns out I’d had undiagnosed gestational diabetes, severely low iron and faint and unwell (needing urgent transfusion one day when I passed out) - at the time, all I wanted was to be on leave and didn’t have the energy to pursue this. I’m now 7 months into mat leave and this doesn’t sit well…

It feels like I effectively lost the opportunity because I got pregnant/went on mat leave, and now someone else gets the ongoing extensions that likely would have been mine. I would have thought a mat leave backfill would be temporary and that I’d return to the acting role as long as the permanent holder still wasn’t back.

I’ve contacted my union, but I’m curious whether this sounds normal/fair to others in OPS or unionized workplaces.
