Does painting over damp patches actually help long term or does the bubbling always come back?
We had a section of a wall near a window start peeling again barely after 6 months of painting. The contractor said the old paint was the issue and suggested just scraping and repainting the wall again. I feel like whatever the moisture problem was never really fixed since it came back so quickly.
I'm seeing slight bubbling again despite it not being the rainy season here yet. I'm trying to understand whether this is just poor waterproofing, wrong paint or primer or just something normal in humid areas.
Would genuinely appreciate advise before i spend on repainting again.
