Summer Storage 🙏🏿

Me and a friend are desperately looking for a place to keep our stuff over the summer.

We are both international, so we'll be really fked if we cant find some place soon 😭(obv storage spaces exist but extremely overpriced)

If you or anyone you know has a place with a lease extending through the Fall semester, pls comment here or DM me (Im fine paying around $70 for the whole summer)

For all the CS/DS people, how do you guys deal with the overwhelmingly rapid advancements in AI, agentic programming, OpenClaw, Gemini, Claude Code… I mean the list just goes on

I was recently watching an interview from Andrej Karpathy and he was describing how the latest versions of ClaudeCode have been making less and less errors with larger and larger chunks of code (even with extremely complex codebases, etc.) and he doesn’t even remember the last time he had to manually go and correct it.

And I mean its not just him, a lot of the people working in industry have become insanely reliant on claude, and companies are actually putting pressure on employees to use it as much as possible ( tracking tokens spent, etc.)

I mean it’s starting to get to the point where it’s scary to even think about the direction things are moving in.

I am an international student and im currently a senior in CS (graduating December), and I legit dont have anything lined up for the summer. And this is after doing insane amounts of applications since October last year ( probably around 1000+ by now)

At first, I was super anti AI and I was like okay this is just a bubble and the industry will return back to the over hiring kinda phase similar to 2021-22 when things start to break, but its all starting to feel very real now

I’ll stop here, I could go on with the rant for days about this topic, but just looking for other people’s views on this

EDIT: And ofcourse, not to mention the 240 situation 😭
