6 hour layover.

I’ve got a 6-hour layover at Dubai International Airport (DXB) with Emirates, all within Terminal 3. What are the best things to do during that time?

Already considering lounges/showering/food, but open to any recommendations — good restaurants, quiet rest areas, shopping, sleep pods, spa, or anything worth checking out inside the airport. Is 6 hours enough to actually enjoy the airport properly?

Would love to hear what you’d personally do with that amount of time at DXB.

Hi everyone,

I have an upcoming flight from London Heathrow to Dhaka with a layover in Dubai, both operated by Emirates.

Originally, I was supposed to land in Dubai at 12:25 AM, but my flight has been changed and now arrives at 1:10 AM. My connecting flight to Dhaka is at 2:00 AM.

Both flights are from Terminal 3 in Dubai.

That gives me about 50 minutes to make the connection. I’m a bit worried about whether that’s enough time, considering deboarding, security checks, and getting to the next gate.

Has anyone had a similar connection at Dubai Airport (Terminal 3 with Emirates)? Is 50 minutes realistic, or should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, my Emirates booking for 15th May from London Heathrow shows a message saying my flight has been “disrupted due to schedule updates.”

Does anyone know what this actually means? Is it likely to be cancelled, or just a minor schedule change?

Just trying to understand what to expect. Thanks!
