Need help finding this book!
I feel like I am going a bit crazy because I can’t recall what booking had this scene.
I believe this was a why choose but might mafia romance or fantasy!?
The MFC and one of the MMC pretended to be married and met with one of the bad guys at maybe a horse race to spy on him. The villain was intrigued by the strong FMC and wanted to purchase the FMC for a night but obviously the MMC refused.
They some how set it up that one of the side characters was an FBI plant that they uncovered and pretended to shoot and push down the stairs.
At some point the villain did end up making a deal to get the FMC for a night and liked her because she pretended to dominate him and then the team raided this guys house.
I have no clue why I can’t remember what book this came from! HELP!!
