I have applied for the MEXT scholarship this year and as per the guidelines, if I am accepted i am supposed to be 18 by April 7 of 2027, however I am going to turn 18 on the 18th of apirl. Does this mean I have to wait an entire year to apply again? That probably means ill have to take a drop year.
