What does it mean if a friend (M24) you(F23) have been crushing on for a while, tells you that they’re “open to exploring where things go”..

They divorced in the last year or so, and have been hesitant to date for a LTR. We have been friends for a good while post divorce, and originally met on a dating app. They were dating casually, but eventually decided to stop because it wasn’t something they felt they were ready for yet.

Yesterday, they wanted to talk to me. They said exclusivity isn’t an issue, but they do have a fear of commitment and are open to exploring where things go with me..
