Should I take the leap

I recently started photography. More as a hobby, but truly I am good at it and I like it!

I’ve figured my camera out really well and have been doing shoots for friends for fun… I’m wondering if I should take the leap and start charging and make an instagram for promo.

I’m feeling a little anxious about the leap as I feel like every girl tries it and most fail. I’m a little embarrassed if it doesn’t take off, but I do think I do a good job!

While im here, what website should I use to send the photo galleries out, and do I need any licensing? Thx

Wanted 3, have 1.

I always wanted a big family because my husband and I both come from families with lots of kids.

Pregnancy wasn’t so bad other than the constant morning sickness and back pain. Birth was truly SO easy for me, but I did have a pretty bad pph.

I love being a mom, getting to watch her brain work, getting to love her and most importantly, being loved by her. She’s truly the sweetest, smartest, sassiest little girl.

I feel jealous when someone announces their pregnancy, but I don’t feel jealous when I see families with multiple kids out and about. Everyone seems stressed, and when you hear parents talk about having more than one, they always seem overstimulated and like they don’t love it as much as they say.

I love the dynamic of my siblings and as adults how close we are, but I also didn’t love having siblings most of childhood or even teenage years.

I’m worried I will regret not having more children. Everyone knows the line “you won’t regret the kid you did have”. Which I agree, they’re a gift. BUT I don’t know that I would be as good of a mom to more children.

I love to travel, go shopping, be out and about and having more means less resources for each member of our family. My husband wants more, specifically he wants a boy. I’d love to have both genders, but there’s no guarantee. They may not be friends, we could have all girls…

Truly- in your opinion… is OAD the life or is having more kids better? Did you regret only having one child?

We still have time, plenty. I wouldn’t even consider until my daughter is 4 years or older, but it consumes me. I sit in these threads constantly trying to decide and read every perspective!

Thx!

1&done or have another?

I have one child over a year now and has been getting easier and easier. I always imagined I’d have 2-3 kids, but was a tough baby… born with a hernia, tongue tied, lip tied, feeding issues, reflux, chronic ear infections, allergic reactions and a bad sleeper. My child is the love of my life, truly my best friend I love them more than I even knew possible.

I’m sad they may not get to have a sibling, and I always crave another baby.. but just a baby… I don’t really want to share my time with another kid. I have a ton of nieces and nephews too. We have the means, space and love to have another child comfortably, but I’m so torn.

The pros: another person to love, another sibling for my child, a full home, more laughs, the possibility of raising the other gender, although that’s not a deal breaker clearly.

The cons: sharing my time, having to potentially take less vacations due to cost, my husband works a lot and so far the baby has been basically my job aside from very little time away, so that alone makes me scared because I don’t know that I can handle two all by myself… I had really bad ppd and ppa..

Selfishly, I don’t really care for my husbands opinion on the matter as it’s been mostly up to me thus far aside from the financial aspect. I do work, but not as much now….

Anyone had a similar experience? What did you do?
