Returning player, what is wrong with my account? Plagued by rage cheaters

So after Cache was brought back I thought I'd return to the game, I only tried out CS2 very briefly and was very active from 2014-2019 in CS:GO and a bit in 2022.
My placements were already plagued by rage cheaters, on my side and on my opponent's side. I even played with and against the same group of cheaters twice in 3 matches.
Additionally i got ranked in way too high for some reason, around 25k.
Now back to back I keep getting rage cheaters on both sides. Is my account just screwed? My trust factor in the shitter? Or is this how it is and you just have to play Faceit?
Is there anything I can do?
Actually sad if this is the current state of the game as it seems to be a good state gameplay wise and I was having fun.
