Opinions on toe spacers? Are they actually helpful in the long term?
Sorry for the pic spam, I just find it kind of funny that my feet look like cartoon footprints when I'm wearing them

I went on a barefoot hike in an urban forest area. I love going barefoot, but I'm very conscious of people staring or approaching me with questions, so I can only do it in places where it's socially acceptable or where there aren't many people around.
When I came back from the trail, I still had to walk another 15 minutes through a nearby area. I decided not to put my shoes back on. I was completely tuned in to the surfaces around me, and it felt so unnecessary. There were a lot of puddles from a recent rain, so I kind of had an excuse that I didn't want to get my suede shoes wet.
I walked all the way to the bus stop barefoot, got on the bus barefoot, and sat there like that even though it was crowded.
It felt so good!
I felt like I just didn't care at all, and like I could have continued all the way without any shoes. I had to put them back on because I needed to board a train, but honestly I wish I hadn't. After already spending some time barefoot, it felt completely natural to just keep going.
got a pretty large fluid-filled blister on my big toe from hiking in shoes yesterday. The problem is that I was planning to do a barefoot hike tomorrow (nothing extreme, more like a long walk), and I'm not sure what I should do.
I really don't want to miss the opportunity, because I probably won't be able to visit this place again for a long time. Should I puncture the blister? Cover it with a bandage? Or should I avoid going barefoot altogether?
