I have a Hyundai Sonata 2016 2.4L with ~85k miles that threw P1326 code with a blinking Check Engine Light recently. Campaign 953 (KSDS update) was already completed, so I took it to the dealer expecting it to be handled under the Theta II engine warranty/settlement process. The dealer performed a bearing clearance test which passed, and now they want to replace the knock sensor and charge me about $225 plus $50 shop fee (so $275 total). I’m confused because I thought P1326-related diagnosis/repairs would be covered under warranty for vehicles that have Campaign 953 completed. The car has also been burning a crazy amount of oil lately I've had to do oil changes every 2k miles or so the past couple of years. The dealership recommended that I do a valve cover reseal to prevent engine oil leaking (pretty sure this is BS and won't fix the actual issue).

I'm wondering if others here have run into similar issues, and if so, how y'all dealt with this. Did the dealership charge you for knock sensor replacement, and did it actually solve the issue?
