My son is moving into a townhouse. Is there a checklist?

My son will be a sophomore this year and is moving into the lower townhouses. I’ve heard that they will need everything but is there a specific list to follow? Any info will be appreciated. He knows 4 of his roommates from living w them last year. He contacted 2 others but can’t find the remaining two.

Can someone please critique my new backyard?

My backyard was really nice with manicured green lawn. In 2022 I got a puppy friend for my current dog, who dig holes everywhere, it looked like a combat zone. My husband was so upset , he neglected it for 2 years. We had the pool and patio installed last year leaving us this spring with not a lot of money left over. We definitely could not afford the $20k estimate a designer gave us. Another wanted $10k to install 25 arborvites only. So, I turned to ChatGPT to help design. I included a few inspo pictures and flowers I liked. We had an inexpensive landscaper install the walkway and plants as I showed him my plans. He charged $5k for everything, I bought most of the materials; edging, rocks, gravel, plants etc for under 2k and here is the final outcome. I’d love opinions, suggestions, changes etc. this is a before and after. My daughter took and saved before photos.

I’m trying to plan a family trip…husbands 2 college age kids(will be 19/21). Due to school/work, we can only travel in December/January…peak season. While my 54 yo husband would probably be delighted with Phuket, it’s just not my scene. We have always dreamed of going to Thailand, we want to go for 14 days, see Bangkok for a few days, I love animals so must see an elephant/animal sanctuary and stay at a fun but authentic dreamy Thai beach area where there is just less tourism…where you can book 5* hotels at 3* price, great inexpensive food, activities and authentic Thai culture experiences? Any suggestions?
