Hi all! Never had this issue before but just got a D in my week 1 discussion board post and I’m struggling on how to respond to the professor.

From what I can tell from their rambling/long feedback

1. I didn’t answer questions posed

in responses to

1. in my initial post (not on rubric)
2. Didn’t cite in my discussion post to show higher understanding (also not in the rubric and this is not a paper)
3. Used first person, contractions, and start with class members name and end with yours (also not in rubric)

This seems completely out of rubric expectations and I’m really frustrated because how am I even supposed to know all of this? I’m not sure how to approach the professor or maybe my advisor?

Oh. And I can revise. But it’s due on Sunday and the sent this feedback on Saturday 🙃

EDIT: clarified that it was answering questions that were asked in response to my initial post. I answered the prompts that I needed to answer, but these are questions that other students asked.
