I have an appointment to see my dermatologist tomorrow. I’m assuming this is infected and will need antibiotics. Is there any chance I’m wrong?
This incision was from a mole removed from my abdomen. There are internal dissolvable stitches, and as you can see the external stitches have already dissolved or fallen out.
About three weeks in the incision was fully closed, but then it got angry….. for the last week it’s been constantly draining like what you can see in this photo. Any of the redness outside of the incision is from adhesive irritation.
