Henry Moser & Cie Pocketwatch [REUP]
Inherited this authentic Hy Moser & C° pocket watch from my grandmother’s estate and finally managed to open the movement cover.
Here’s what I’ve identified so far:
Hy Moser & C° signed
solid silver case marked 0.800
matching case serials: 745788
movement serial appears to be around 718531
HM hallmark/emblem inside case
enamel dial with red 13–24 numerals
small seconds subdial at 6
Swiss lever movement
movement looks surprisingly clean with intact gilt finish and visible jewels
The watch still sets correctly and the hands align properly. No obvious heavy rust or water damage inside.
I’m now trying to learn:
approximate production year
movement grade/caliber
jewel count
whether this was made specifically for the Russian Imperial market
realistic collector
whether it’s good servicing/restoring
Photos attached of dial, case markings, and movement.
Would appreciate any insight from Moser or pocket watch collectors.
