Why I don’t agree with the theories that Garth is double-crossing Mayday

But if he is, he must be a damn good liar because when he said he wants Gilead destroyed, it was so genuine. You could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice, as well as his inner turmoil over his father. Some might say that his praise for his father’s bravery means he’s lying about his true sympathies, but if he were lying, I think it would make more sense for him to only bash his father to purposefully sound more convincing. Because that would make more sense strategically, right? Admitting he admires his father shows a human vulnerability that only someone being truthful could have.

Mayday would have to be absolutely convinced of a literal “war hero“ Commander’s son genuine devotion to their cause (because even though that makes him the perfect source of info, that’s also hella risky), and I think at this stage, the leaders of Mayday are smart enough to smell a rat. But if I’m wrong, I’ll eat my shoe!

Happy Mother’s Day ❤️🐾

This is a picture my girl’s previous owners sent of her as a newborn. They fostered her, her siblings, and her mama, who passed down her gorgeous torbie coat 🥰

On Sundays I’d starting at age 2, I’d go to what we called “children’s church” for actual biblical lessons instead of just getting to play. But on certain Saturdays or weekdays, my parents would go for grown-up church functions while my friends and I stayed in the nursery even once we were well past “nursery age”
