Perineal tearing x 6 years after childbirth - now they think it’s LS??

Went to gyn today for annual exam…backstory I had my first baby in 2020. I had a small amount of tearing that would never heal. Since it was Covid times, I only was able to do virtual visits and was repeatedly told to “just use more lube”
I haven’t had a consistent gyn, as I go to a practice where they shuffle you around with different providers. Which I think at this point, it might be time for a change. This tearing went on for years, causing me much anxiety around intercourse but I just kind of pushed through because anytime I told the gyn I was thrown lube packets.

I had my second child April 2025 and figured ok I’ll prob tear again so I’ll wait until that’s okay and seek treatment.
Today, I told the gyn NP I’d like a referral to urogyn as I’ve done estrogen cream, pelvic PT and basically abstinence since I’ve only had sex 2 times in a year. My skin appears to”normal” and “beefy”. (Her words?) and it seemed like she was set to give me a referral but her supervisor said it could be LS. I can’t decide if I’m just getting dicked around or really could this be it? Does anyone have similar experiences?
