Running or walking?

I’m 10 weeks pregnant and I’ve had a pretty rough first trimester, with nausea, water retention, fatigue/sleepiness, and everything that comes with it.

I used to be very active before pregnancy. I ran 4 times a week and did strength training 2–3 times a week. But over the past few weeks, I’ve mostly just been walking and doing a minimal amount of Pilates and strength training, around 3–4 times a week total.

Do you think it’s worth trying to get back into running even after being inactive for this time? Or would walking for an hour every day be more beneficial? I also feel like my heart rate is much, much higher than it used to be.
