Dad has severe psoriasi
Making a post in regards to my dad since he doesn’t do social media & he is new to psoriasis.
Since December 2025, the psoriasis started out as plaque & guttate covering 80% of his body. The derm perscribed a steroid cream, didnt do anything.
He has an appointment next week to go back because I am & he is pretty sure he now has erythrodermic. It is widespread & the only places he doesnt have it is the palm of his hands, toes & his face. He can barely walk or sleep because it is so severe & uncomfortable. Its been tricky with treatment options since he also has MS & also PML.
Is there anything he can do in the meantime/advice in general before next week for some relief? & do hospitals treat severe cases? I am very worried as I saw erythrodermic can be life threatening.
