Possible interview outcome?

I recently went through the interview loop at Goldman Sachs. My last interview with the MD was two days ago, but I haven’t heard anything from HR yet. Does this mean it’s a silent rejection?

Goldman Sachs VP interview: Strong technical rounds, average MD round — realistic chances?

I recently completed the final interview loop for a VP engineering role at Goldman Sachs.

I felt that all of my technical rounds went very well. The MD (Managing Director) round was average. It’s also wrapped in 15 mins (it was scheduled for 30 mins) which is making me more worried.

How much weight does the MD round usually carry relative to the technical rounds?

Can a candidate still get an offer if the technical feedback is strong but the MD round is only average?

Interview with MD

My interview with Manager Director (last interview in loop) ended in just 15 minutes. Is that usually a bad signal ?

I had a MD round scheduled for 30 minutes, but it wrapped up in about 15 minutes. The interviewer asked a few questions about my experience, 2 behavioural questions. And answered my questions.

It felt much shorter than I expected.

Is a bad signal ?

Also, how soon do I get to know the outcome?

Anyone had their Hiring Manager round skipped before the MD round?

I’m interviewing with Goldman Sachs for a software engineering role, and I wanted to get some opinions.

My interview process has been completed.

After all rounds, HR told me that I had cleared them and that they were waiting to schedule the Hiring Manager round.

But yesterday she told me that they're skipping the Hiring Manager round and scheduling me directly for the MD round.

Is that generally a good sign? Has anyone experienced something similar at Goldman Sachs?

I know nothing is guaranteed, but I'm trying to understand if skipping the Hiring Manager round usually means they're already positive about the feedback, or if it's just a process thing.

Goldman Sachs recruiter said I cleared all interviews, but my application status shows “Application Turndown”

I recently completed all my interview rounds for a software engineering role at Goldman Sachs.

After the interviews, the recruiter/HR told me that I had cleared the rounds.
However, when I checked the candidate portal, my application status showed “Application Turndown.”

Has anyone experienced this before? Could this be an internal system update, or does it usually mean the offer is not moving forward despite positive interview feedback?
I’m trying to understand whether this status can change after HR communication. Any insights would be appreciated.

Application “Turn Down” ?

I had my interview at Goldmansach, and last week they mentioned I will have another round pending, and today I saw in portal that “application turned down” as status. Is it a rejection or system glitch ?
