DP request: Processing time for missing Aeroplan points/SQC claim (Avis via Air Canada)

Hello everyone,

​I just submitted a claim by email to points@aeroplan.cxloyalty.com regarding two Avis car rentals booked through the Air Canada website.

​There is a significant discrepancy between what was promised on my confirmation screenshots at the time of booking and the reality of what was actually credited to my activity history. Both the points and the SQC received do not match at all.

​I have sent all my proofs over to the cxloyalty team. For those who have gone through this process for missing partner points before, how long did the processing times take before everything was corrected in your account?

Confused about Avis points on the AC Portal – why the different line items?

Hi everyone,

​I'm trying to understand how Aeroplan points are calculated when booking Avis through the Air Canada portal. I have two recent rentals with completely different tracking.

​

​Rental 1: Posted as 2 lines (Status + Rental) for a total of 2,160 points.

​

​Rental 2 : Posted as 3 lines (Status + Online Booking + Rental) for a total of 510 points.

​

​Why did one rental get an extra "RESERVATION LOC D'AUTO ENLIGNE" line while the other didn't? How many lines/multipliers are we actually supposed to get based on elite status and booking online?

Anyone else waiting on SQC corrections?

​Hi everyone,

​

​Just wanted to see if I’m alone in this boat. I’m currently waiting on Air Canada to process some SQC (Status Qualifying Credits) corrections following an error on my account.

​

​To be clear, AC has all the information and explicitly admitted the error over 2 months ago, but the adjustment is still pending in their system.

​Because of this delay, I’m currently stuck at 50K (50,000 SQC) instead of 75K (75,000 SQC). It's becoming a real issue since it’s actively impacting my eUpgrades clearance priority and other status benefits for my current flights.

​

​To make things worse, there seems to be absolutely no way to escalate to a supervisor anymore. The agents I get on the phone are trying their best to help, but they are completely resourceless and can't do anything on their end.

​

​Is anyone else facing massive delays for SQC adjustments that have already been approved by customer service? Any tips on how to actually get this pushed through when front-line agents are stuck?

Becoming SE in November: Strategy for Last-Minute Partner Business Redemptions?

Hi everyone,

​I’ve always booked my redemptions long in advance, but I’m shifting my strategy for the end of this year and 2027. I will be hitting Super Elite at the end of November and earning Priority Rewards (worldwide Business) at the same time.

​Since I’ll have total flexibility on my side for my upcoming travels, I want to start leveraging last-minute availability for long-haul Business Class on partners.

​For those who regularly book 'close-in':

​Which Star Alliance partners (Lufthansa, ANA, EVA, etc.) are currently the most reliable for releasing seats in the last-minute window?

​What are the typical timeframes you’re seeing lately? Is it T-14, T-7, or even closer?

​Are there specific regions or routes where these Priority Rewards are easier to redeem for partner seats on short notice?
