Why do people regret laser hair removal?

Every thread on this has one person at the bottom saying they wish they'd never done it. Burns, dark patches, hair coming back angrier. How common is that really, and is it always the clinic's fault or does it sometimes just go wrong on its own

Charged in Hudson County, never done this, do I need a criminal lawyer in Jersey City or can I handle it?

Live in Jersey City, got charged with something for the first time in my life, and I'm trying to figure out if this is a hire-a-lawyer situation or a show up and explain situation. It's in Hudson County.

I keep going back and forth because money's tight, but I also don't want to walk in and get steamrolled by a prosecutor whose whole job is to win. For people who've dealt with the Hudson County courts, is local experience there a real advantage? Trying to understand what a criminal lawyer in Jersey City would actually do for me that I can't do myself.

Anime tattoo in NYC that won't come out looking cheap?

Big anime person, and I finally want a piece from a show that means a lot to me. Thing is, half the anime tattoos I see online look kind of rough. Wobbly lines, weird color. I want crisp clean linework that actually respects the art style. Who's the go-to for anime in the city that won't make it look like a sticker?

What is a virtual assistant actually, and is it a real job or just hype?

I keep seeing virtual assistant work pushed everywhere as the way to work from home and i can't tell if it's legit or another scam funnel. So what is a virtual assistant really, like what do you actually do day to day. Do clients expect you to know specific tools already or do they train you? and is the money actually liveable or is everyone underpaid. not looking for a get rich thing, just want to know if this is a real career path before i spend time learning it. people doing it now, is it worth getting into in 2026.

NYC tattoo shop for tourists, somewhere I can book in two weeks?

Flying in and want to mark the trip with something tiny. Skyline, Brooklyn Bridge, anything small and NYC-coded. Fine line preferred.

Most artists I've messaged are booked out three months. Anyone know studios that keep slots open for shorter lead times? Willing to be flexible on the exact day.
