The Outdoor Lava lamp!

Not as exciting as I hoped but still cool! I bought dollar store citronella oil which smells nasty so I don't know if a more expensive one would be better or not.

I think for the other two "lamps" I'm going to try to find the wine bottle fairy lights and use those so there's no visible battery pack. Will do another follow up once I get my hands on some of those types of lights.

Found these beauties at a flea market! Any info appreciated!

They are a minty blue colour with a bit of gold paint on them. They also are bigger than they appear in pictures. I'm obsessed! I saw some similar looking ones but they weren't the same colour online. So are these reproductions? Thanks!

Phone photo of UV makes it look more intensely green than they actually glow. The glow is also more minty looking in person.

Thrift store find!

Found 3 of these at the thrift store! I might put lights in them or some coloured fluid/oil. Or just leave them as is. Not sure yet

Is this bad?

I have an oldish 16 inch lava lamp I thrifted and it's very dark and cloudy looking (I don't mind that) but I noticed there is a lot of brown gunk (burnt?) on the coil and the bottom. Is this something to worry about? Or can I just ignore it and keep using the lava lamp as is? I don't want the lamp to crack.

Moving biocube 3 feet over. ADVICE?

I have a 14 biocube and recently purchased a 16 biocube to replace it. The 16 gallon needs to go in the exact corner where the 14 gallon currently is.

The main problem is I cannot just do a straight transfer of contents to the next tank so it's not as simple as moving water and rocks over. My current rocks are completely covered in Kenya trees and my plan is to move the current biocube over about 3 feet so it is out of the way and stick the 16 in that spot. Then Im thinking ill need to probably cycle the new tank with new sand, rock, etc. Which is going to take a long time before I can move my anemones and clowns and small corals over when it's established.

Does anyone have any ideas? From what I've read in here the second the water is drained and the tank gets moved it immediately needs to lose the old sand and get replaced. But I just need to scooch the tank over for the new one and leave it until the new tank is ready. I'm aware this sounds more complicated than it is but I don't know what steps I need to move the tank and not break it or cause a system crash from sand distribution.

Please don't down vote me I just need some help.
