Just bought a house and this is the back porch. Any ideas what to do with it to enclose it myself? Beginner/moderate level ideas please lol. I’d love to turn it into a place where my cats can “go outside” without being able to get out. It’s all currently open right now outside of being framed out.

My fiancé’s parents are constantly telling my fiancé they wish mom would give him full custody. They don’t like her because of how she treated him, but as a mom, she doesn’t do anything wrong. I mean she’s a little over bearing on fiances business but he’s just now learning to set boundaries so that’s kinda on him for allowing it this long. But that’s not even her as a mom, that’s just her as a co parent . As a mom… I have no concerns about her. (My opinion as a formal CPS worker) She’s just a normal mom. I usually ignore them saying this and talk separately to my fiancé about the important of his mom in child’s life and he agrees but always just brushes off his parents. Tonight they said this again in front of the child (5) and asked the child if they would rather be with mommy or with them. This is insane to me. I’m a foster parent. I’m huge on family and family ties. I see first hand how detrimental being separated from parents it is on a child. It’s one thing to talk badly about mom away from the child but in front of them AND trying to alienate the child from the mom?? I’m losing my mind.

What would you do here? I’ve talked with my fiancé before about telling his parents to quit but he doesn’t. It’s not my business but I feel for this kid and I want to advocate for him.
