I was given the “privilege” of being the trustee/executor of my parent’s trust. (I’m one of 4). Executing it will take years. Many properties to sell and distribute. I’m questioning how to pay myself. Is it yearly? At final execution is trust? I’m in CA. From what I’ve read payment is based on value of trust. Between .5% to 1%. Is this payment a yearly payment or once trust is settled?
