i am about to become Canadian citizen and I got married in march 2025 in India . After I got married I applied for my wife’s permanent residency. as soon as I completed the application I realized my wife does not have good intention. she is also very good at misusing the law. she now refuses to live with me in Canada and has filed for financial maintenance in local court in India. I recently bought a big house in Canada and didn’t realize the consequences of bad marriage. on the bright side my wife is still in India and her entry visa is about to expire because she did not enter Canada on time. Could someone please advise how I can save my life savings from her?
