got to around 5.6k gs by myself, without doing any raids. tried to get into several guilds, either I didn’t meet the reqs, which are fucking stupidly outrageous, or run prinarily HC raids, which I don’t have the gear for. Any sort of NA guild I’ve joined has barely any people to fill even a 10 man for progression, let alone 25 man raids. Try to pug, but guess what? everything in the raid is fucking reserved, or you have some cunt who rolls on shit they literally do not need. the most I’ve gotten is a shitter ass staff for my mage. can’t even get enough frost emblems because people will get angry and leave mid raid or some bullshit, so the cycle continues. makes playing the game at this point feel insufferable. kind of understand why people just go to buying items to skip the gearing up portion

let me tell you, never had as much fun in this game as just going to Hellfire and smacking Low level alliance kids while they’re trying to quest. Went there at first to help my buddy dungeon, but we both got ganked by 3 level 80 rogues at the entrance who corpse camped us. I said fuck it, just started going on a rampage killing low levels. What makes it even funnier is that I asked for help from fellow horde kids sitting outside thrallmar, no response. Second I kill low levels, all now decide to flood my whispers getting angry, telling me I’m ruining the game. insane shit
