Please help me choose college
Hey everyone, I need some genuine guidance regarding college admissions.
I scored 72% in CBSE boards and around 37 percentile in JEE Main. I know these scores are not great, but I still want to build a strong future in engineering/business and I’m trying to make the smartest decision possible from here.
My family can afford decent private colleges, so fees are not the biggest issue. I’m mainly looking for:
- Good exposure and networking
- Decent placements/opportunities
- Entrepreneurial environment
- A college where I can still grow despite my scores
Right now I’m considering BMSIT and other private/direct admission options. I’m also open to management quota/direct admission if the college is actually worth it.
Can you guys suggest:
- Which colleges I realistically have a chance in
- Which ones are genuinely worth joining
- Whether I should prioritize brand name, crowd, placements, or location
- Any underrated colleges with strong opportunities
Would really appreciate honest advice instead of sugarcoating. Thanks.
