Does this kind of lighting make sense?

I am planning this type of lighting in false ceiling. The square ones would be panel light and circle one would be COB. Can someone please confirm if it makes sense to keep the lighting like this? Or if someone can please suggest some other lighting plan?

Warbobe laminate looks flat

I chose this combo the interior guy messed the proportions and also i went with matte finish for this and its looking so lifeless and flat. What can j do to improve it? Or should i replace it entirely?

everyone told me not to do a coloured wardrobe. 1 year later the only thing i got wrong was the finish

My mother's exact words were you will get bored of it in six months. carpenter tried three separate times to talk me into the beige, the designer called the colour a resale risk on a wardrobe, which, on a piece of furniture that is screwed into my wall, ok.

did it in a deep rose anyway. floor to ceiling with loft cabinets above, off white inside, thin metal handles. one year in i still walk into that room happy, so on the colour - i was right and everyone else was wrong.

where i was wrong: i did it in gloss.

it photographs beautifully but in real life it holds every single fingerprint, and because the shutters are full height, the marks sit exactly at hand level on a 6 foot panel. i'm wiping it twice a week. i'd do the identical shade in a matte if i were starting again and i think it would look better and be more practical.

for anyone wondering, roya

Any tips on interior design for my drawing room?

This is my drawing room and currently under construction. I'm looking for interior design ideas.

I can ask this to ChatGPT, but I want suggestions from you guys as well. Perhaps it could be much better than ChatGPT 😊

My little display showcase ✨

A little corner of my home dedicated to some of my favourite pieces. Quite a few of these are from Russia, especially the glass and crystal pieces.
Still very much a work in progress — planning to keep collecting and add more unique pieces over time. Really enjoying watching the showcase slowly come together.

My childhood room in my parents' house.

Kind people of this sub, 33/M, soon to be married. This room looked entirely different a month back, it was brought down and the door-window orientation was changed suiting vastu. It still needs a lot of work.

Please suggest what can be done to make it look more warm and inviting.

Wall fixtures, lights, ideas for the dressing table in the alcove are all welcome. Please keep in mind that i cannot invest heavily at this moment in decor. Thanks!
