So this is my room in a new flat I am renting, I wanna slowly take it to a good level a cozy vibe for studying and studying and chilling.

Things I cannot or don't wanna change: the bed and the fan.

All the stuff near the window is temporary till the rest of the flat will get painted its clothes, utensils, some decorating items like flower vases, lights etc.

Stuff I like: anime, f1, web series

What I want: A cozy place to study chill and enjoy.

Timeline: of course I can't do a room makeover in a day or a week I'll slowly do it over a few months so yea keeping that in mind what should be my priority for the make over (obviously not including the clutter that will be removed soon).

I have spent the last 5 days setting up this room in my new bangalore flat and homestly I am suprised too that I got such a big room in HSR sector 3.

However I do feel a few things missing a plant infront of the socket to hide the wires would be great and a rug, suggest some good custom rug brands that have cool or some irregular rugs for my room, My budget for the rug is around 5-6k

Hey everyone! I'm looking for ideas to decorate my PG room. Two main constraints:

1. No nails — I can't drill or hammer anything into the walls

2. Budget — Keeping it cheap and affordable

Here's what I'm thinking so far:

· A bedside table where I can also keep some books

· Some posters on the wall behind my bed

But honestly, I have no idea what to do with the wall that has the tubelight. It just looks blank and boring. Would love some suggestions for that!

Any ideas for making this space feel more like home without damaging the walls? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys ,I am literally confused what kind of texture and colour pallete would look nice for elevation and double height staircase,pls help.

Fyi I'm stairscase I was thinking of Making railing with round Vertical bars with Wooden Railings and In OTS in staircase it will be Black Ms frames wish Terracota jalli(few sample pcs are already there in some images).

For Gate ,I was thinking of Modern ms Gate and in first floor ,glass railing with SS.

I’m currently building my house and trying to figure out the decor for my room. I want it to feel aesthetic, personal and a little premium.

I’ve attached some random references from Pinterest for the kind of stuff I’m looking for. Pics are basically the vibe I’m going for, not necessarily the exact products.

Though I don't want that over dramatic boys' RGB room. That's why I have attached a random subtle room where I'll wanted to place such cools stuff.

Basically subtle +classy+ slightly nerdy, rather than wall full of posters💀(it's good for make overs)

The problem is i mostly find the such same generic stuff online or offline. Where do you guys actually find these kinds of things?

Looking for recommendations for:

Good online websites/stores

Offline markets or shops in Delhi/NCR

Even if you know some random underrated shop that sells cool stuff, drop it yrr. Budget isn't fixed yet, so I'm open to both affordable and slightly expensive pieces if they're actually worth it. (Although jitna sasta utna acha😼)

How do I make this room more appealing and aesthetic.

Money is no prob. But it has to be DIY. It's a 10 x 10ft room

I work around 8-10 hrs on laptop everyday and somehow this room feels very unproductive boring.
This is a rented apartment so can’t spend much but I am willing to spend 10-15k to make this suitable for long work hours and make it little pleasant to sit in.

- The current lighting is such that it makes my eyes strain within 1-2 hrs this doesn’t happen in natural light or in the cafes I visit for work. It has 3 sockets and I have tried multiple LED variations but the problem doesn’t go away.
- The window is big but the natural light only enters from this side till 11 in the morning rest it’s dim.
- This sofa I bought second hand and feels comfy but lately has very tiny bug (not bedbug some other tiny shit) issue despite cleaning the wood and the cushion wash multiple times so sitting on it gives itching at times but no visible bugs in sight idk wtf is there in it freakin hell
- I somehow find the environment of it very dull but I ain’t very fancy person cuz even average aesthetic cafe atmosphere makes me productive so it has something to do w this premise
- The ceiling fan works fine but I sometimes get agitated with the fan airflow, should I get the inside door sealed and get this air conditioned? that will exceed the budget but if that’s what it takes them I am ready to

I am horrible at decorating/ organising my living space. Please help 🙏. I rented this apartment to be close to work, it came fully furnished. I can move them around but I do not want to buy/modify something big.

The cot has storage so I can store stuff there.
I hate the exposed shoe rack - might ask the owner if I can get a new one and deduct it from rent (I might get a new one either way, if the new rack is not expensive)

I have a longer water intake tube for my washer, once installed the washing machine will be placed straight and at the corner. The drain pipe will be placed inside the bathroom.

The kitchen area is getting a curtain before the end of the week.
