Will the credits and grades I earn from the Economics courses be added to my main B.Tech CGPA (single overall CGPA), or will I have a separate CGPA just for the Economics major?

Also, if anyone has any additional info about:

• How the workload feels alongside regular engineering branches
• Whether we can drop out of the Double Major later if it gets too heavy
• Any catch about the Economics Project in 7th/8th sem

I’m desperately trying to get a MacBook Air M4 (brand new, not used), but it seems like they are gone from official retailers.

I know the M4 is discontinued and all , but with all the price hike on M5 I just can't afford it. If I can get an M4 at aeven under 95k, it would honestly be a dream come true for me.

I'm seeing the base model listed for around ₹1.27L on Flipkart, but it’s stuck on "Coming Soon", I have no idea if they are actually going to restock.How much discount i could get on it

I really don't want to spend ₹80,000 on a Windows laptop it just hurts sm that I could've gotten a mac just a month ago in my price range, but I need a laptop now.

I need to vent.I am just a beginner writer. I sat down today with an idea I had in my mind for a while, thinking i would write my first story, a great story. I had a starting scene in my head, a woman at a fertility clinic getting devastating news. I really thought I could make this into a good story.

Then I wrote this:

Grace is sitting at the fertility clinic, raindrops clattering against the window of the room, the brown lights reflecting on the white tiles of the room. The smell of antiseptics burned in her nose. She and her husband Mark are waiting for the last test result, which will tell her if she can be a mother or not. Mark tries to calm her down, but nothing is helping. Finally, Doctor Jones enters the room with a gloomy face. She knows he isn't bringing good news. He tells her her body is too damaged to carry a child; the treatments have failed. She'd never be able to become a mother. She is devastated. Mark tries to console her. She is empty; she isn't listening to anyone. She can't look at him; she can't speak.

I am just sitting there staring at it like... this is what came out? This clunky shitty mess? I was so excited to write today, and now I feel like I should just close my laptop and never open it again.

Before I started, I expected to struggle. I didn't expect to struggle this much. I didn't expect to feel this completely incompetent. I keep thinking maybe I'm just not cut out for this. I keep thinking maybe I'm just not cut out for this. Maybe some ideas are meant to stay in your head. Not everyone is going to be Stephen King or GRRM, right?

I'm so frustrated. So disappointed in myself. I don't know what to do

I’m looking to buy a MacBook Air for college and I’ve settled on getting 16GB ; 512GB to make sure it lasts me through the next few years without running out of space or lagging.

With the recent ram prices and Apple's price hikes last week, pricing seems very confusing.

What is a "good/ideal" deal price I should look for when targeting an M4 512GB model?

With the student discount or bank sales, is it possible to grab the M5 512GB close to ₹1 Lakh, or is it better to stick to the M4?

Got DTU Mechanical in Round 1. Might upgrade to EE in the next rounds.

I despise coding. The mere idea of it seems boring to me . I mean the idea of sitting on a chair and writing codes for 8 hours makes me not want to do it . I'm more interested in finance markets, investing but from what I've read, without an MBA from IIM XYZ , finance roles are nearly impossible for a fresher engineer especially if you aren't from the 7 IITs.

But I've also realized what I like and my interests were killed the day god decided a middle class indian family for me .

Also, I'm taking the entire DTU fee as a loan. So I need a good package. But that apparently requires DSA/Coding

So my question to seniors who've been through this:

1. Is it possible to get a 15+ LPA package from DTU Mech/EE without being a "coder" i.e., by going into analytics, consulting, or fintech roles?

2. If yes, what should I actually learn? ( CFA? maybe )

3. If not, how do I force myself to do DSA without losing my mind? Should I just treat it like JEE prep { Can't be tougher than that ,right?}

4. Also, is CGPA > 8.5 really that important for non-core companies?

I know my "interests" don't matter much in the grand scheme. I just want a practical, roadmap so I don't end up with a 6 LPA core job and regret.

Seniors, please drop your wisdom. Your help would be much appreciated

P.S. – I'm not opposed to doing an MBA later. But I want a decent package first so I can at least pay off my btech loan in a year and half maybe two and I don't take a huge loan for mba .

Hi guys

I'm looking for a good anti-dandruff shampoo and could really use your advice. My main priority is finding something that's effective but also easy on the pocket. I've been doing some research and have shortlisted the above one, but I'm confused about which one to pick.

I initially zeroed in on Cipla Tugain Essentials 2% Ketoconazole Shampoo. I liked that it's from a well-known company. Reviews online were generally positive. However, a few users mentioned it can leave hair feeling very dry and rough, and you definitely need a conditioner afterwards. I also saw some comments about it potentially causing a bit of hair fall.

1. Has anyone here used Cipla Tugain Essentials 2%? How was your experience, especially regarding dryness?
2. Are there any other really cheap but effective shampoos you swear by?

If i am being honest as a huge horror movie fan i didn't had much hope for a series in the genre I went into this show with basically no expectations.But holy shit.

I freaking loved Haunting of Hill House. Especially the later half. Not the ending though --I'll get to that.

I have never in my life cried, been angry, and been scared at the same time watching a horror thing. Never. This made it so captivating

The Bent Neck Lady scene? Oh my god. FUCKKKK. This has got to be one of the best horror scene i've ever seen WoW

What I loved most is how everyone had their own broken way of coping. Steven in denial. Shirley angry. Theo depressed. None of them are wrong. None of them are fully right either. They're just… people who went through something horrible and got shaped into these versions of themselves.

The car scene between Theo and Shirley was so Freaking awesome.The run of episodes 5, 6, 7, 8 was absolutely insane. Episode 6 alone is some of the best TV I've ever seen.

Nell's confetti speech was God. So emotional and captivating. I love how she says "Our moments fall around us like rain"..

The acting could've been better in places. I'm sorry but the mom just didn't always land for me. Felt off in some scenes. And the dialogue in very few places felt a little awkward too. Like the writers got too clever and forgot how real people actually talk.

The ending though Tsk Tsk Tsk

The later half of the season is SO good. Dark. Dreadful.And then the ending just… fell flat for me. It got too warm and neat ? for the lack of better word . Too happy chappy (lol). I wanted something cruel,angry Give me a dark ending . The house should've won imo. Nell should've stayed tragic.

Instead we got this wholesome shit . I DONT WANT MY HORROR TO BE WHOLESOME 🗣️🗣️

Despite the ending not being for me, and a few small rough edges, I've honestly never felt this many emotions at once from a horror show. That alone makes it worth watching.
